"S*** Square Enix!" ~ Taro Yoko
Seven years later, we're finally getting a sequel to NieR! Set thousands of years after the first game's fourth ending, NieR: Automata promises the same post-apocalyptic action RPG gameplay, with Keiichi Okabe returning to compose the soundtrack (because let's face it, that's what we all care about) and has received positive reception in Japan at least, garnering a 39/40 score from Famitsu.
Soooo...one week to go until the Western release, at the time of posting. Anyone excited? Despairing because PlatinumGames developed it and they've never done anything right? Planning on picking it up Day One, or perhaps later due to other commitments? Thoughts on the demo? Anyone actually buy that this game will have a happy ending? Discuss.
