I used my fretboard/typewriter chart I created to turn
"PICTURE DISC ASMODEUS RATLEDGE" into fret positions and spent the afternoon in play, with only the rattling of the Dictaphone banging against the back of the guitar until it slipped off where I was sitting, but still recording.
Volume turned up not to full, but enough to distort slightly.

Take 4 is my attempt to get in three minutes (I went over) what I was doing, so here's your first clip.

And this is the third take, which is the second time I've attempted to play this.

And this is take 1. The first 7 minute tackle. I go through the changes and within two minutes I'm up and exploring this strange new world of fret/typing (It's either that or "Board/Writer"!

Thanks for listening!

Now things get heavy with a tribute I recorded around 5PM today.
It's a tribute to Pink Floyd... But it doesn't contain any of their music. What I did was translate their album titles to my innter fretboard/alphabet so I'm not using their music!
*slaps forehead
Woah, this means "Final Fantasy" would be easy to "figure out" and gives me an idea for my next clip!
So just the one this post, but it was the 7th take of it I did after the first two (1st time I forgot what I was doing even when it was all written down in front of me, and the second time I was nervous and wondering if I had the right to do it like this?
A more assertive play after a short break.
WARNING BEFORE YOU PRESS THE LINK:
At the start I play what notes I'm using to each album.
PUNCHLINE:
And these were just three albums with "The" in their title! I orignally "transcribed" 8...

Thanks for listening and even if you can't think of anything to say, thanks for letting me use this part of FFF to get this stuff out of my head!

And this is me turning the surname (Not mine!) of "Savile" into a bass line! I originally recorded 5 takes of another piece, and after finishing the fifth take, came up with the idea of throwing "Savile" through the fretboard/typewriter.
This was the only take of me playing this tune in my bedroom, but I think it's even better than the one posted at the start of the thread.
Imagine what take 5 of this would sound like?

Thanks for listening!
