Final Fantasy Forums Twitch Channel: http://www.twitch.tv/finalfantasyforums

Streaming content of your gaming experience and tutorials can be fun for many, so we invite you to join us as we dive into this new site feature packed with multiple features and perks for our members! A list of channel directory, channel subscription, optional shoutbox integration, Twitch chat, and a customizable channel schedule for members (coming soon), are some of the few things you can expect from this feature.

So where do we start?

First, head to MogShop to purchase the Twitch Channel item under the FFF Network shop. This item costs 500 Gil. For an additional 2,000 Gil you might want to consider purchasing the SB Chat Integration for your channel to fully experience our unique gaming setup and convenience.

Example: FinalFantasyForums Channel

The benefit of a shoutbox over the Twitch chat is permanent shout logs despite refresh or exiting your browser. Plus you get your own shoutbox. How cool can that get? Additionally, you can also purchase the SB Chat Upgrade (300 Gil) under FFF Network > Special Upgrades. This allows you to customize your SB further and pick your own set of stickies. (You will need a staff member's help with this). We can also add a custom button in your shoutbox (next to all the SB controls) if you wish. If you'd like to change your shoutbox title, definitely possible as long as your username / name is somewhere in the title.

SHOUTBOX GUIDELINES:

-Forum rules apply to all vBShouts.

-vBShouts will temporarily be disabled as a result of a 3+ months site inactivity. You may ask for it again when you come back, free of charge.
-Once you purchase the Twitch Channel item in the vBShop, you will be prompted with the following questions:

Enable Shout Sound? Will play an audio cue every time a new shout is made. (Default is set to Yes)
Enable PM Sound? Will play an audio cue every time a new forum Private Message is received. (Default is set to Yes)
Enable Alternating Shout Colours? Turning this on will alternate shout background colours in the shoutbox. (Default is set to Yes)
Shoutbox Height: (Max 300 px) - (Default is set to 175)
Guest Can View SB? Yes or No. (Default is set to No)

When going live on Twitch, the forum will automatically pick up that signal and update the forum block on the side (right above Twitter module). The Stream Status will turn green indicating that you are broadcasting live - providing that you are the only user live (or the most current user on live broadcast) at that time. Check the Channel List to see who else is live or if you'd like to watch members' past broadcasts on Twitch. Remember, Twitch saves your videos for 14 days only. 60 days if you have a Turbo account. Exporting your favorite videos to a Youtube account is highly recommended. Head over to the Broadcast History thread if you'd like us to feature some of your videos on the forum's official YouTube account as well. The more exposure, the better.

If you are new to Twitch, don't forget to manually enable Archive Broadcasts on Twitch. You can find this under Settings > Channel & Videos > Channel Settings > Archive Broadcasts. Twitch archives are not automatic and won't save streams unless you enable this setting.

Feel free to create your own thread here to list your collection of streams you'd like to share with the community. This is beneficial if you'd like to be more organized in oppose to randomly posting streams in the Broadcast History thread with everyone else. For example, you can set up your GFX tutorial stream videos along with our gameplay experience (and whatever else) in one thread, with multiple posts to organize categories and different aspect of the forums.
