[11/07] First trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers from Nintendo 3rd Party Direct

FF Explorers footage ends at around 3:30 in the video.

Today's Nintendo Third-Party Direct streaming kicked off with the first trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers, the multiplayer-focused 3DS spinoff game with an emphasis on summons, crystals and uhhh, exploring? Think Crystal Chronicles mixed with a bit of Monster Hunter. If you can't find three other friends to play with, there are AI allies to back you up.

Square-Enix have also announced that the game will hit Japanese game stores this winter, but there has been no word on a western release as of yet.

Looks perfect. The only thing that stopped me from staying interested in MH Tri was how serious it all was. I'm finding it hard to decide on a class: black mage or some sort of warrior. I guess it depends on what @Dinglberry , @Big Casino and Paddy McGee go for?

Wow, this game just keeps looking better and better! So long as the multiplayer aspect is done right (i.e. public, not ad-hoc) I can definitely see myself getting this one assuming it is localized.

I would've liked seeing more classes. i would also like to know if theres an upgrade system to certain classes. such as Magus or Sage. The white mage looks to close to seer. I would like to see "All" the jobs that were introduced in FF5.

An FF game closer to exploration and finding summons isn't bad, but i would really need to see a twist. otherwise it feels like a monster-hunter game with the FF brand on it. nothing new.

EDIT:
After a lot of consideration, i felt that this is the true distraction that SE has been pushing. i bet its going to be a good game, but not a "great" one. i dont see any Wow-factors....all i'm seeing are typical things any game could have.
