The importance of Blue Magic

How important is Blue Magic in FFV? I have made it to the end of the first world, and only have a small handful of Blue Magic Spells. If this kind of magic is important, can I get the spells later in the game, or is the first world my last chance for those spells? Or should I not worry about Blue Magic, and concentrate on other jobs and abilities...?

I think Blue Magic, in any FF game, isn't entirely necessary. I find it to be no more than new and unique in your vast arsenal of abilities; still love it, though, since I'm a "color mage" lover.

So, in short: it's not too important in FFV. It's just cool.

Blue magic is kinda underrated and under appreciated if you ask me. I remember some of the magic bailing me out in certain situations. White wind was a must until my group was able to learn Cure 3. Very good class with the right combinations.
