UPDATE: MARCH 12, 2013

+ Early Spring Cleaning!
Roleplay Central is undergoing a heavy cleanout to usher in a new age of roleplaying in FFF.

Any ORPG, URPG, or RPB roleplay thread that has not been used or responded in since the start of 2012 has been archived. If you are wondering where an old RP thread has gone, it has been moved due to inactivity. Old threads that are not RPGs but no longer serve a purpose will also be archived if not already. Many threads have also been moved to their respectable places.

Also please remember to keep general RP discussions right here in The Reading Room so all of us can see and join in on your topic!


+ New Sections!
Roleplay Central now welcomes Roleplay 101 and Heroes Coliseum which can now be found under The Reading Room. The Confederates and House of Winners have been deleted due to lack of activity and purpose.

-Roleplay 101 will now be the place for for beginners and RPers who wish to improve there skills. This new area will soon be filled with helpful advice and resources to help those who wish to join our roleplay community.

-Heroes Coliseum will be a place where various events will occur. This includes the upcoming and exciting RPB tournament, the Effy Awards, and many other soon to be events.


+ Moved Section!
The Story Sages has been moved to The Authors section, its role remains the same, to help flesh out the backstory and key features about your RP.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: MARCH 31, 2013

+ The Roleplayer?!
A new monthly blog titled "The Roleplayer" and written by our very own RP Moderator, Noblesse Oblige, has launched it's first issue.

It will be including descriptions of active roleplays featured here on FFF and an interview with an RPer within our community! To be caught up on all of the latest RP news, The Roleplayer is where to go. You can look for the issues every month stickied in the SB or as an entry on our moderator's blog.

If you haven't read already the link can be seen here!


+ The Heroes?!
Currently the fate of "The Heroes" forum is currently up for debate.

Due to inactivity and it's lack of purpose(RP masters make and accept bios) the section has no longer served much of a purpose outside of RPB competitions and one on one. With that said we have questioned whether to keep the section for RPB usage only, or to turn the section into something else entirely (Quick Action RPing perhaps?).

It would be nice to know what members think about the issue within The Suggestion Box. Please let us know what you think!

+ Slow Activity
Activity within the RPC section may be halted for a while.

Due to the forum wide event of Survivor, key members of the Roleplay community here will be unable to participate and move the stories forward. This is an annual occurrence in traffic within the RP community so those who are new to us should not fret!

We shall regain all of our RP companions once Survivor ends these next few weeks.


+ Current Activity Threads
New "Current Activity" threads have been implemented into both The Worlds of Our Own and The Rewritten Stories.

These new additions to the sections make keeping track of currently running roleplays easier for new, returning, and current members of our community. Hopefully this will prevent necroposting and promote the creation of more Roleplay threads.

Only Roleplays with both a Signup thread and RP thread will be displayed. Both threads must be active for at least 30 days before being declared "inactive" and taken off the displayed list.


+ Upcoming Tourney
A RPB tourney will be held within our roleplay section in the near future!

Willing RPB participants should prep their characters now in order to participate in the competition that shall determine the RPB champion of FFF!

+ The Mini Whats?!
By popular demand a new section to The Authors titled "The Mini Sagas" has been added.

This section of role-plays will be the official home to 'In Character' threads and One-shot role-play threads. All RPs with less than three participants can also be created here. This section will definitely provide a more casual setting and is open to accept both original and unoriginal ideas. Hopefully we will have yet another flourishing RP section.

More details on the section will be put up in a new thread containing the rules and regulations of the section. Please refrain from posting in the section until then!


+ The Vanishing Heroes
As most have probably figured out already, "The Heroes" section of the forum is no more.

Instead it has become The Universal Warriors, a place where all RPers can create threads to keep track of their own RP bios and to request critiques. The section was evolved in order for there to be a place where characters can be archived and constantly worked on, without needing to be approved for RPBs.

However, RPers can still request their characters to become approved for RPBs by posting in the Bio Review Waiting List. Rpers can also request their characters to be posted into the new "Heroes for Hire" section where they can allow other RPers to use and tweak their own RP characters for personal use on FFF.

Requests for RPB bio reviews shall resume.


+ The Tourney Signups have Begun!
The first of Roleplay Central's annual Roleplay Battle Tourney, hosted by Noblesse Oblige, is on it's way to an epic start!

Competition looks tough and various stages are nearly completed! If you haven't joined but are thinking about it, you can read up on all of the information here in the Heroes Coliseum! Willing RPB participants should prep their characters now in order to participate in the competition that shall determine the RPB champion of FFF!

Winners will receive the honor of being remembered as the first of many champions in the RPC Hall of Fame! Winners will also receive a special signature banner as well.


+ Mystery Forum?
A very big surprise is coming to Roleplay Central!

A string of recent polls nearing the Heroes Coliseum seem to be the only clue as to what it could possibly be about...
