(In advance, If there's another one of these, please do what must be done mods. :) )

Okay, well, I did this on another forum recently, and decided to bring it over here to the forumers that I love so much. :)

What inspired your current username?
Does it have any special meaning to it?
Why did you decided to go with it?

For me, I wanted to go with a mash up. Two of my all time favorite wrestlers are Chris Jericho and Kane, so I combined Jericho and Kane to create the JeriKane part of my username.

The 1998 in my username represents my birth year. I'm proud of being born only 19 days into the year of 1998.

I don't plan on changing it anytime soon, if ever. (especially now that I searched my username into Google and found out I'm an internet celebrity XD )

So there you go. My username is very special to me. :)

All my usernames have had a lot of thoughts and were meaningful to me. My current username is actually pretty small, and so is it's reasoning.

It's my favourite number. (Not Final Fantasy included, cause that's 7) but yeah, just my favourite number, and I'm really stuck on the username. It looks cool too. :ohoho:

I used my user names as my name (shace) and most of the other ones, Sixty, Vircon, Happy Dog, and a few others really were other peoples user names that I ripped off Sixty came from Six, Vircon was Al's old user name, Happy Dog was from Mad Dog.

Melvia is a female character from Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland. She is hilarious and loud spoken...and wears a cute little outfit :ari:

Rapture was the name of one of my favorite songs (Iio- Rapture)

Lilith was my favorite Borderlands 2 character.

and Stella Nox Fleuret was my favorite Final Fantasy game character (who we will most likely not see this console generation :wacky:)

watched death note, changed my name to L

just stuck

Ive had this name for ages noo

Its the name of a song by one of my favourite bands 'jimmy eat world' from the album 'chase this light' I knew i wanted a username that was a song title or something similar so i picked Big Casino. Its not my favourite song by them but i do really like it and i think it makes somewhat of a better username than say. Dizzy, Polaris or kill :wacky:

Whatever its better than calling myself sephiroth sama, CloudEpiiiiic or lagunas dream or something equally as stupid -_-

i get called stevie alot, so i decided 'hey, let call myself Stevie' 2 years later, that how I'm pretty much known around da internet

my name actually is somewhat final fantasy related since it's the name of cid's lab in FFXII, but no one usually knows that and it doesn't sound as dumb as most FF related names :hmmm: i was also stuck in said lab for about 6 months before i completed it.

Whatever its better than calling myself sephiroth sama, CloudEpiiiiic or lagunas dream or something equally as stupid -_-

:wacky:

My new username is Dionysos. It is named for the Greek god of wine, ecstasy, madness, amongst other things. :woot:

Why?

Partially because I'm a philhellene and needed a name like this. It is also because I dressed up as the guy for a party a couple of weeks ago, so after avoiding thinking for a new name for a long time I after all merely had to be reminded by my own recent physical existence.

Well, I've had mine for absolutely ages. I never change my username, or well I haven't yet, and that's been a good few years. It's really a made up word that doesn't mean anything, but I like the sound of it. I got inspiration from watching Naruto, and the tailed beasts (Kyuubi, Hachibi, Juubi) Shichibi means seven tails. I changed the spelling...I can't remember why, but I think just because I wanted a name nobody else would ever use and I think it looks better with this spelling too. I use the same username on every forum I go on, and because it doesn't mean anything nobody else ever has it :)

Well, my original username was Meteora after the "Linkin Park" album.

I get called and told I'm a robot quite a lot. :lew:

So I put the two together and got Mete-bot.

I like it since it can kinda go with the "Daft Punk" theme I've got goin' on right now.

i am sincere in everything i say and do at all times.

i exude sincerity.

and also because of martin ssempa. but mostly the first two things.

Mine is pretty obvious. I got my username from Rydia from FFIV. I always wanted the ability to summon huge monsters XD

Mine was inspired by a song by Crystal Castles, which is so hard for me to find a non live version of >.>, but yea I had a set that went with it and lyrics and all that jazz. Then I got really into cyberpunk and sci-fi and after researching technology for a sci-fi based story I've been writing I came to realize how cool robot/android exoskeletons were and all that jazz. I've been wanting to change it for a while now though but I've just been too lazy and I can't think of anything better.

I've always been The Welsh Paddy.

:hmmm:

Except for the first couple of months I've spent on forums. On FFE, I was once known as Ominae Yu, after the character from Spriggan. And on a couple of other places, I had the username The Almighty Sephiroth *shame*, and Odin. But yeah, after a few months I just went with The Welsh Paddy.

It's a nickname a bunch of friends came up for me back when I was about fifteen and in the Marine cadets. It started off as Paddy Welsh, only because my name is Patrick and I'm of both Welsh and Irish heritage. But then someone was all "Nah, he's The Welsh Paddy!" and it just stuck. So yeah, I've had this as a username for about eight years now? :wacky: I definitely don't plan on changing it either.

from a my favourite scene in fight club, when the narrator refers to himself as jack's smirking revenge and proceeds to beat himself up. it's such a fantastic scene, and ed norton was absolutely electric in it.

curiously in the book, the narrator refers to himself as joe's smirking revenge rather than jack's. no idea why they changed it, i imagine because jack has a better ring to it

I've been Kandy-Sugar for as long as I can remember. Never changed it.

A girl at my old job started calling me Kandy-Sugar one day back in 2006.

My name is Candace but I prefer Candy and so she just played around with Candy and came up with a few names such as Candy-Cane, Candy-Pop etc etc, but I prefered Candy-Sugar.

It just stuck ever since and I thought it had a nice ring to it. :ryan:

I changed the 'C' to a 'K' because I like the look of the K better for some reason. >.<

I've never changed my username, I've always and forever been the Dragon Mage.

I picked it because I've been a nut for dragons ever since I was 4 (with no signs of that changing) and 'mage' because I love reading and writing fantasy. So.... Dragon Mage. At on big group convo on MSN, someone said that it reminded them of a really powerful and sexy woman commanding dragons! If that isn't a good reason to not change it, I don't know what is!

My current username is inspired by (in my opinion) the greatest thief of all time, Carmen Sandiego. I grew up with her T.V. show and videogames and she's always been such an iconic figure for me. APPARENTLY Walden Media has obtained the rights to the Carmen Sandiego franchise and are in the progress of making a Carmen Sandiego movie :D So I'm also excited for that!

Atticus Fetch - A character played by Tim Minchin in the latest season of television show 'Californication'.

"Get up off your arse and come with me. I am going to play you the greatest song ever written in the history of the universe, after which we shall snort cocain and have our arseholes tongued by the Angels."
