I really don't see what is so great about tea myself
But I suppose this is a good thread for some people...
Is there a certain tea brand I should try or that is recommended?

I would greatly recommend the Kirkland brand, if you like Japanese green tea then Ito En is absolutely great.

This looks to me more like "How to make iced tea in the most inconvenient way possible". Does this method of boiling the tea (why would that matter if it's ICED tea) actually improve it?

I think I've seen Mom do this before. She prefers natural tea while Dad buys the canned bullshit Iced Tea and I'm kinda stuck in the middle because of their raging egos not being able to decide on one fucking brand to drink. This has been going on for 15 years now!.... Anyway, I like this method. It does taste better and makes me feel all happy because it's healthier. I just wished we'd stick to it. Not have it every other summer
