There's a crystal bug in that dungeon. I suggest that you grind to around 19~20. Usually a good tip is to have your characters around the same level as the guests. The wall can be a bit of a pain, especially if you're underleveled.
May I ask how this boss is causing you trouble? Do you keep running out of time to kill it? Does it do too much damage to you? If you give me a little more information, I'll probably be able to help you more as well.
edit: small thing as well, are you sure you're talking about XII? You posted in VII, so I just want to confirm which game we're talking about =P
My thanks go to Six for making this awesome signature

*Moved to FFXII help booth*
Are you fighting the first demon wall or the second demon wall? The first demon wall is an optional boss, which you can fight later in the game.
If you are having trouble with the second demon wall, as Yatsumiko said, grind your characters a bit more.

I had a lot of trouble with the Wall as well. IIRC there are little urn like things with fire. If you destroy those, the wall stops moving for a small period of time. Try getting to level 19 or 20 with your characters, then try that. Is your gear up to date? That's always important as well.
edit: ninjas. He already moved it Dx!
hmm my gear? well since my troubled time with Judge Ghis i had to sell thing, including half of my gear for potions, to beat the guy so my gear has been cut down to half D:. all i have right now are: 3 iron swords, 2 ancient swords, 1 head gear and leather cap, 1 chromed leathers, 3 buckler shields, a bronze helm and 2 ringmail along with 3 orrachea armlets and a manufacted nethicite for accessories
lol ninja Uncle XD

Yeah, you might want to grind to get some loot to sell and update your gear a bit. That could also be why your damage output is too low to kill the demon wall in time. That coupled with underleveling can really hurt you. If you're not into grinding then you should just pick three people to mainly level up and level up the others on the side, but focus on the main three. For me, I already had everyone at stage two quickenings when I was at that point (I loved grinding in that game).
Just perservere and you'll beat them in no time

No problem (:
Quickenings have three stages to them for each character. The way the quickening system works is that while you're spamming it, the system keeps track of which levels you are using and adds them to a tally. If you do certain combinations, you'll achieve a bonus 'quickening' at the end of your timer that does additional damage. The most powerful one is Black Hole (again IIRC, it's been a year at least since I've even looked at my game's cover) and it can do a huge amount of damage.
Try getting all of your characters to at least stage one quickening, do the fire trick that I mentioned in the above posts, and save your quickenings for when you're about to lose. It's kind of silly to expend all that mana at the beginning of a fight. It leaves you near useless for healing / offensive magic for the rest of the fight.
If you're still having trouble, let me know and I'll try to help you out more. (:
