Greeny's Beat The Beat Video Gallery!
Hey there folks, I've decided to start up a thread that displays all the minigames in the recently released Wii game "Beat The Beat: Rhythm Paradise". While minigame games aren't normally my thing, the likes of Warioware and Rhythm Paradise have always caught my attention...they are certainly some of the best minigame games out there and shouldn't be looked down upon until you try them for yourself
.
Anyways, this is a blind run, so it is in no way perfect but I'm hoping it'll be a fun exeperience for you lot and that you'll enjoy!
Oh yeah...seeing as this is a music game, there will be no commentary. This shouldn't matter considering each episode will be extremely short though.
And with that, I declare Greeny's Beat The Beat Video Galleryyyyyy: OPEN!
http://youtu.be/67dwLAy2_eY
http://youtu.be/AXsVGnG3wR8
The first video is the intro episode. Who makes the game? Look here to find out.
The second video has the rhythm test that starts up when you first play...I raged so much when they got in the way that I lost all my rhythm. They seem cute and cuddly at first...but look what the hell they do about half way through! Twats
We'll be starting the game properly tomorrow guys and gals, so get ready for a short, rapid-fire, quirky series full of bloody weird goings on

Here comes Hole In One!
http://youtu.be/_QDFTextzXU
This video has the first of the minigames, and it doesn't go as well as I thought it would. There's a bit of a difficulty spike from the tutorial to the actual minigame. Great music.
That bloody monkey puts me right off.
I think we make it by the skin of our teeth, even though it's a very basic game :/

Oh, it looks like the cafe has opened! Let's head inside and take a look around...
http://youtu.be/icjPmf6O2TI
Just a short video this time, with us exploring what can be done in the cafe. The cafe man ( bar tender? :/ ) is so mean *cries in the corner*

It's time to get to work at the Screwbot Factory!
http://youtu.be/uAW96iY2iTo
Hey folks, this video shows off the 2nd minigame which is a little bit tougher than the first. Not only do you need to use the B button as well as the A button, but the rhythms are slightly more difficult to pinpoint too.
Have a look see how I get on
------------------------------------------------------
We are given the Toy Car this time around...so let's try it out!
http://youtu.be/LhLp7CODFM8
Hey guys, it's time to check out the Rhythm Toys! The only one we can have a look at right now is the toy car, so that's just what we'll try. It's tricky to get the timing exactly right...I wonder if I do it before the end of this vid?
Have a look see

It's time to meet the See-Saw testers!
http://youtu.be/5kwEFtiN93A
Hey there guys, this episode has by far the strangest game yet. Those people are just so weird looking :/ . Actually, they kinda remind me of that russian gymnast/circus guy from Coraline...my favourite game so far.
Can't wait to see what the next one will be like!
---------------------------------------
Say hello to Mr Upbeat!
http://youtu.be/rVCpS7SlHIk
It's time to check out the Endless Games! Mr Upbeat is extremely simple in design (he sorta looks like Orbulon from WarioWare...) but it's still pretty fun. This minigame also reminds me of the skipping minigame in Alexandria (from Final Fantasy IX). Not my favourite of the lot, but that's why it was put in the endless games section and not made into a full-fledged minigame of its own
We'll be returning here once we have 14 medals

We go for the perfect date in Double Date!
http://youtu.be/cPSVhvMH7po
This minigame is another very interesting one. The rhythm changes depending on which of 3 balls are thrown at you, with the rugby ball (american football) being the toughest to judge.
Having a double date with a couple of...moles? is actually not that bad
-------------------------------------------------
It's time for a vacation remix of the first 4 minigames in 1st Remix!
http://youtu.be/6hdjHmICqds
This minigame is a mixture of the previous 4. It's tough if you find even one of the minigames a challenge, but fortunately we're still playing, what I assume to be, the easiest minigames, so it's not too bad
Oh, we also check back in at the cafe to see if the barister has any time for us now...he does.

I feel like such a pig in Board Meeting :/
http://youtu.be/uthjerNuLb4
Board Meeting is pretty funny...I dunno, it's an alright minigame
----------------------------------------------
Monkey Watch...we get to watch monkeys? Not quite...
http://youtu.be/zgApHB8jcas
Oh dear god, why didn't I kill that monkey with the tambourine...coulda sent a warning out to these little twats. This one is a bloody nightmare and nearly gave me a heart attack from stress :/ . Still, we get there in the end ready for the next minigame! Toughest one so far, by far!
--------------------------------------
Time to rock out with the 2nd Remix!
http://youtu.be/X-mALa6Pdws
Get your rocks off,
Get your rocks off, honey,
Shake it now now,
Get em off downtown
A mixture of the last 4 minigames. A wee bit tough...especially since the monkey watch game is in there...
Johnny ain't so crazy,
He's always got a line for the ladies
See you again tomorrow folks!

Dear god, I need to work in a dough factory after seeing the stuff in Working Dough.
http://youtu.be/0X38vsddtjg
This one's a little bit tricky, but only because of the memory needed. It kinda reminds me of Tambourine in that way. I really like this one mind.
--------------------------------------------
Time to try the 2nd Endless Game in Wake-Up Call!
http://youtu.be/9TReD3C2Yuo
So long as you can count accurately in seconds and half seconds, this minigame could go on for aaaages...that's why I fail it after 5 goes. The animation in this one is actually really good and if it was longer and more varied it could compete with the 2 remix minigames we've seen so far. T'is fun
-----------------------------------------------
I'm not quite sure what we're making in Built To Scale...
http://youtu.be/cmZd56f8ark
This one is a lot like the first minigame in the DS Rhythm Paradise. Just press A when the...thingy lands on top of your bouncer and press A+B when the white squares match up on the other side of the screen. It's probably the easiest minigame so far surprisingly.

Let's play badminton above the clouds in Air Rally!
http://youtu.be/2NjRH3tlLhM
Jeeeeeesus this one is tough. From the constant rhythm changes to the clouds getting in the way, it's just full on from the get go. It's between this one and Monkey Watch for the hardest game so far :/ . I do like the concept, the cat voice and the music though...if only it were easier though.
---------------------------------------
Poor punching bags. Poor, poor punching bags
. Time for Figure Fighter!
http://youtu.be/5fu_gS_X_tI
Hey there folks, this minigame is pretty simple for the most part (even if it doesn't seem like it from my playing). 4 different orders to look out for, but just follow the rhythm of the voice and you can't go far wrong.
-----------------------------
There is one angry drum symbol in Hi-Hat...
http://youtu.be/-cKfUuI1Dcc
Ok, I'm a wee bit confused for a while in this one, but get what to do eventually. It would've been nice for them to tell you the controls :/
Anyways, with this rhythm toy, you can choose between 4-beat, 8-beat and 16-beat. Just press A+B when the beats land on the symbols

Why have I not seen this thread until now!? These videos are hilarious.
