Okay, so CC basically tore me a new one by explaining that there was a Jenova project that was done before Sephiroth. We know that Genesis and Angeal both contained Jenova cells but so does Sephiroth. Those two degrade and Sephiroth remains in tact. He's also twice as strong. So how does this work out? Does anyone know the logic behind it or have a theory?

Sephiroth is meant to be the perfect 'monster' because he Jenova cell was also used to create him. But apparently Angeal was the perfect monster..
I can't remember exactly but it had something to do with their bodies rejecting the Jenova cells.

In the FFVII Crisis Core sources it states that Genesis and Sephiroth are of equal strength.. however Genesis was degrading so it might no have been possibly to see.
