Can you swap systems with an account?

Is there a way you can start an account on PS2 and transfer it to PC? Or vice-versa? I just bought the game for PS2 but I still need a network adapter, but I want to play the game. So I was wondering if I could buy it for PC and start it on there, then transfer to my PS2 once I get the adapter. Is this in any way possible?

Yes you can switch back and forth on accounts if you want to. (i.e. play on ps2 one day and comp the next).

The only thing that matters is that the playonline viewer is up to date, and you have your correct account information. You can even log on with someone else's computer that has an up to date viewer.
