Tarot. For many in this world this is something that merely divines fate. For others it is religion, and something to be worshiped. For more still it is a cheap trick, used so that fortune tellers can acquire some money.
Yet to very few is it real, manifest power, able to destroy or create the world anew with ease. For very few is it something to be taken up as a weapon against another, something for defense, offense, or sheer selfish desire.
These people are called the Wielders. They are humans who have become instruments of Tarot and of Fate, with the desire to take their power further and transcend their mortal coils.
For years the four factions have been opposing one another. The Factions of Swords, Cups, Pentacles, and Wands. They are always battling for dominance and the 20 Major Arcana. This is an age-long conflict, and no one is willing to back down. Swords desire nothing more than power. They revel in conflict and force, and of all the factions, are often the quickest to turn to actual physical aggression and jump straight into the fray, regardless of whether their influence will be for the better or the worse. While they are capable of reason and rational thought, they are prone to violent outbursts and judgmental tendencies, and are also prone to delivering physical and mental abuse when in a negative spiral. They represent the element of air and can materialize swords in their hands. In order from weakest to strongest, these are the weapons they can materialize.

Driven by creativity, originality and intuition Full of questioning, compassionate desire, they act on initiative and deep thought, but can be full of procrastination and get bored with their projects easily. They can even be condescending and dismissive to those around them, developing selfish, egotistical complexes and self delusional, as well as spiraling into despair at a great life change.
They represent the element of air and can materialize wands. In order from weakest to strongest, these are these are the wands they can materialize

The Cups are emotional, vibrant people, brimming with compassion and intelligence. Less likely to engage in unnecessary bloodshed, they are considerably more compassionate than the other suits and act with their hearts over their hands, enjoying a daydream and impulses of creativity. However, if something happens to shake their world, they may get over-emotional or lose emotion all together, becoming apathetic to cope and escaping into unrealistic fantasies. They represent the element of Water and can materialize daggers. From weakest to strongest, these are the daggers they can materialize.

However, they can become materialistic and overindulgent, becoming too fond of the physical things in life and denying the spiritual, focusing solely on personal gain. They represent the element of Earth and can materialize axes and hammers. From weakest to strongest, these are the weapons they can materialize.

The Empress represents maternity, beauty and sensuality, with a love of nature and life. Its wielder will be more confident in themselves and a compassionate mother figure towards others. However, she can become tyrannical and overbearing, almost too protective of those around her. She can also slip into emotional blackmail to retain her power.
Weapons: Materialization of the Maternal Scepter, a long, golden scepter, hooked at the top and with a large pink orb and two smaller orbs studded into it. These can send magical pink orbs at the enemy.
A strict, authoritative paternal figure, the Emperor thrives from authority and exerting it. The ultimate male ego, he is, courageous, brave, and rarely backs down. But he is prone to the same tyranny as the Empress and can be prone to abusing his own power and is stubborn and inflexible to a fault.
Weapons: Materialization of the Paternal Blade, a large greatsword.
A law abiding, deeply religious person, whoever wields the Hierophant will become someone who desires order and peace in the world around them. They are obedient and follow the law precisely. The Hierophant makes someone more fragile, exchanging freedom in exchange for temporary security.
Weapons: Materialization of a short dagger
Wielding the Lovers will make someone loving, passionate and spontaneous. They will become outgoing and flirtatious due to this, and if it goes too far, can be drawn into dangerous grounds by temptation. Weapons: Materialization of a shortsword. Light and Dark Magic
A kind, wise person who can be a spiritual and mental guide, helping the more inexperienced and traumatized through life with compassion, wisdom and empathy, the hermit’s wielder can become disillusioned and weary of the world around them, and choose retreat and loneliness over the positive aspects of the Hermit.
Weapons: Materialization of a stave
The wielder of this Arcana receives a crash course in destiny and fate, and begin to believe in it. They become compassionate, and attempt to give others some good fortune. However, they can become depressed and want to spread bad luck around instead of good luck.

Weapons: Materialization of a dagger
The wielder of this arcana is a free spirit with passion and confidence, wanting to see and enjoy every aspect of the world they can fit onto their palette. Weapons: Materialization of a chain axe. Enhanced Fire Magic
The wielder of this Arcana will become extremely wise, realizing the truth of the world around them. However, this change can affect them either for the better or for the worst, bringing about their downfall and eventually, total ruin. They can become disillusioned and paranoid.

Weapons: Materializing crescent moon shaped scimitars.

Weapon: Extremely powerful Fire Magic.
The wielder of this Arcana will know spiritual and physical renewal, as well as release from the physical aspect of things. However, they can be ignorant to the plight of those around them while lost in their own transcendent release, and afraid to take these qualities and use them to their advantage. This hesitation can be dangerous for the wielder and those around them.
