Name – Alexander Kavar

Title – The Architect

Alignment – Chaotic Evil

Race – Human

Gender – Male

Age – 19

Appearance – Standing at 6'2 and weighing 196 lbs. He has short red hair, which was recently cut to keep it out of his way when trying to fight. He has a tan complexion due to all the sunlight he gets. When not walking, he is looking around for potential victims. He is kinda chubby because he doesn't work out like he used to, but is still in good shape and can compete with anyone. Clean shaven and bears no scars, partly because nobody wants to mess with him. He walks like there is nothing wrong and always looks for trouble.

Attire – He wears a dark red undershirt beneath his armor. He made a necklace himself one day and gave it to this girl he knew, which he wears now(more in history).

Armour – Wears a suit of splint mail to protect himself from damage. When his armor was made for him, it was made with a weaker material than most armors without his knowledge. His armor protects well against pierce attacks from long range (175+ yards), but not as well up close (0-50 yards), and almost nullifies slash damage. However, due to the weakend material, the armor will crack when hit by a strong blunt force and shatter if it is struck again. When not used as a weapon, he uses his shield to protect himself in a jam.

Personality – He acts like nothing will ever happen to him. When he is around people he doesn't know, he will jump into their conversation hoping to start a fight, and when is doesn't happen, he just leaves. He brags that he's killed as many as 25 people in one fight, but most people don't believe him. If someone spills something on him, he demands they clean it up, or compensate him in some way. If they refuse, he will draw his weapon and start a fight. He likes people that kill, for whatever the reason, and has even thought about bounty-hunting, but decided against it. He will use his strength when he wants to in order to get what he wants and is known to not back down from anything or anyone. He thinks that everyone is below him and he is the boss of everyone.

First Impression – When people see him, they stay away from him. People think that nothing is wrong with him, so they try to talk to him. He does not try to talk to people to get them to back down and will gladly accept any challenge that comes his way.

Strength – He can lift a heavy rock over his head and can carry more than his body weight. He is fairly strong and can knock over almost anyone, unless they are stronger than him. He uses his strength to get his way and is not afraid of people stronger than him.

Vitality -- A hit to the stomach by someone strong will knock the wind out of him and cause him to go to the ground. A shot to the lower body doesn't cause him to go to the ground, but it reduces his speed and gives him a slight limp in his step, which effects his attack stance. Even though he wears armor, he has really low magic resistance. A basic fireball spell will cause immense pain and send him flying back.

Speed – For his size, he is not that slow and can run fast for when he wants to run. If people try to run from him, he will attempt to chase them down. He may not be able to catch everyone, but he makes the attempt. He can run at about 11 MPH.

Stamina – He can run for about 2-3 minutes before getting tired. When tired, he will lower his shield some in battle and not swing as hard when fighting. When fighting, though, he can only last for around 1-2 minutes, due to his lack of long fights.

Reflexes – He has fairly quick reflexes and is able to use his shield and block most arrows and blows that come his way. He is not quick enough to dodge or block when enemies are near his side, but the armor prevents most of the damage from the blow.

Fighting Style – Holds his shield in his left hand and has the shield out in front of him. When he is surrounded by enemies, he will find the weakest target and go after that one first to open a path for him to face all his opponents. He holds the sword behind him to get his slashes at maximum efficiency. When his opponents are slower than him, he will charge and attack with full force. If faced with a blunt weapon, he will try to avoid any hits and disarm the opponent before striking him down.

Weapons – Uses a regular longsword that he found in the desert. The blade is 25 inches long and stays sharp from regular sharpening. When he has to, also uses his trusty shield to hit opponents with. The shield is round, with a diameter of 21", and spikes on the edges. In the middle of the shield is a spider-web design.

Abilities – Enrage: Temporarily sacrifices his stamina to raise his strength, which will cause him to lift an extra 15 pounds. The ability lasts for 17 seconds, but takes away 36 seconds from his stamina.

Magic – does not use magic

Other Skills – Entice: Knows just what to say in order to goad them into fighting.

History – Alexander was the problem child of the Kavar family. He would always get into fights with his brothers and with people in general. When he was 14, he got kicked out of school for fighting with the teachers. Three years later, he got kicked out of the house when he was told on by his brothers, who caught him stealing from a store. He swore that he would get back at them for that, and left without a look back.

While traveling, he found some towns and earned a reputation for causing problems and getting into fights. He finally found a place that suited him, and settled down for a couple years. While in this town, he met a girl, Allison, and they became friends. He liked her so much that he gave her a necklace he made before he left home. Two weeks later, his brothers came looking for him; not to take him back home, but to collect the large bounty that had formed on his head. Unable to find him, they interrogated the town and found out about Allison. When they found her, they questioned her and told her the history about him. They knew she was hiding him, so they started to torture her, until she finally died. Then they left and resumed their search for him. The next day, Alexander found Allison's lifeless body, but was unaware of who did it, until someone found him and told him about his brothers' visit. He took the necklace off Allison before she was buried, then went back to his old home to confront his brothers. After finding out what had happened, he had another reason to get revenge on his family.

Alignment – Bad

Bad how? Very subjective term. Instead, use the DnD type alignments, linked here. After reading through his personality, I'm thinking Chaotic Evil.

Appearance

More description. Specifically on his facial features, but other aspects as well. I want to be able to recognize him from your description if I passed him on the street.

His armor protects well against pierce attacks

How well? An arrow at 250 yards? A bullet point-blank?

but will crack and break if hit with a blunt weapon.

Any blunt weapon swung by anyone? What amount of force can it withstand?

He uses his strength to get his way and is not afraid of people stronger than him.

Expand on this in his Personality.

A hit to the stomach will knock the wind out of him and cause him to go to the ground.

Any hit by anyone? That seems to have made his armor virtually useless.

Can you give us an estimate as far as MPH or KPH? For reference, an Olympic sprinter has a top speed of about 23 MPH.

The shield is round

What is its diameter?

raise his strength

By how much?

in order to get them to fight.

Just a word choice issue here. Makes it sound like you can get them to fight no matter what, which is a bit Power Play-ish. "in order to goad them into fighting." or something along those lines would be better.

His armor protects well against pierce attacks from close range (0-50 yards), but not so well from long range (175+ yards),

Should be flipped. A projectile carries more speed when it's first fired than after travelling a certain distance.

Other than that, I think everything's fine. Though I do think the armor should be able to withstand quite a bit more damage from "weaker" opponents before cracking. Cracked armor is essentially useless, and the way you have it worded makes it seem that it'll split in one blow, regardless of the strength of the opponent. I'd encourage you to make it quite a bit stronger.

Edited again. I put an extra note in the armor part to explain the blunt 'issue'. I understand what you are saying and am willing to go with this setup.

If need be, I'll change it, though. Just say the word and it'll be done.

I'm OK with it if you are.
