Eh, I scoured the meeting room (all 4 pages of it lol, but I got distracted by old threads and had a read for old time lols) and couldn't find the thread we had originally and I KNOW there was one, so I'm assuming it's been archived, either that or I'm looking in the wrong place

Anyway, I'm waffling

Soo have you met any other FFF'ers? Last time I posted in this thread that used to exist I'd only met the one, and now I have a bit of a list

Danny/Ven (?) Heonly lives round the corner, I get sent on beer errands
James/Jimmeh
Lewis/Lagunas Dream
Pooley/Jacks Smirking Revenge

All have been fun times as well and I defo plan on seeing them all again, fun tiems

There are others I'm planning on meeting but I'l post them as and when I meet them

To date, just Dave, Kelly and Jane (several times). I went round to Dave's house once, even which was a bit random and slightly awkward with all the random people there.

I've met a few people from another forum too, which ended with me having my car impounded in an unfamiliar town. Good times.

I've only met Ness, aka Justin from the forums currently. Was fun times. not meetin again for obvious reasons. It's pretty nerve wracking meeting someone you've met off a forum, imo. But it's exciting too. =D

Hmmm I really don't see a problem posting if you have plans on meeting somebody on the forums IRL... I really don't think it'll hurt to post "Well I've not met x-person just yet, but we have plans to meet on x-date and I'm really looking forward to it! etc..." So really, since this is Kelly's thread and if she doesn't mind, then I think it'll be perfectly fine for people to post who they're going to meet. =]

Well yes, I've already met Kelly once, and for some god-forsaken reason I'm going back for seconds. I'll be meeting Poo Shovel this time too, as well as anyone else who turns up at Kelly's house on the day.

In the foreseeable future however, I've no real intentions of meeting anyone else. Online is quite sufficient for 99% of the people I talk to from here.

Well i'm most likely seeing Ami tomorrow if all goes well, and at a later point Danny, Kelly, Virgil (possibly), Vikki, Mark and Sonny

The last thread just got really spammy and out of hand with people ending up just carrying on about who they wanted to meet, but didn't have any actual plans to actually do so.

I was trying to see who actually met who (was bored) and could only find a few posts where people had actually met anyone.

As long as you're actually going to meet them it's fine, just no:

'I want to meet [insert names here].'
'I haven't met anyone because I like to keep internet life seperate.'
'I haven't met anyone because I live too far away.'
'I want to meet people but no one likes me.'

sort of posts that will turn this thread spammy again. >.<

More recently, I've met Damon and Danny. They're both absolutely wonderful and full of positive energy. I met Damon first and we both saw Danny later on. It was quite the funny reaction seeing Danny chase him all the way around Piccadilly Gardens. I thought I lost them at one point, pulled out my phone to call them and then, what do you know? They reappear.

Next weekend, I'm going to be meeting Mark, Vikki and Sonny. I'm really excited about it! For me, meeting people you've spoken to online feels like I've known them for years and we speak like normal. But I guess it's different with everyone else.

Right. An updated list. I've met Danny, Kelly, Mark, Vikki, Shaun and Freddy. And I'm going to go through each and every one of them.

Danny. Ha, ha! He's hilarious and so straight to the point. He's got his sarcastic side there the whole time, a great laugh.

Kelly. She's like the older version of me, except more gobby and bubbly. She had such a stronger accent than me. Had some fun times with her the two times we've met!

Mark. Aww, he's so adorable. He was really friendly and so much fun back in February when I had a load of people staying for the weekend, even if he demanded the air bed. xD

Vikki. She's just as cute that I jumped on her in the train station when she tapped me on the shoulder. I love her accent, it's adorable. She feels like the older sister I've never had, who's shorter than me!

Shaun. Well, what can I say? He makes himself more known than his impressive impressions. He's a great laugh and comes out with the most random things!

Freddy. The only thing that annoyed me was the camera whoring, but forget that because he's such a sweetheart.

Things didn't get off to a good start as apparently there were two Sheraton Hotels in Anaheim, where she lives, and where I was visiting for a wedding. Basically they waited at this other Sheraton two blocks down the road and I waited at the other one for like half an hour. My bad.

Then she, her husband, her daughter, and I just chatted at this coffee bar. Talked about FFF, life, and stuff. They're pretty cool people.

Too bad she didn't want any pictures. Now I don't think any of you will believe me.

This is my first time meeting someone from the forums, so I shall make a detailed post about it!

I met Jay about...45 minutes ago now. It wasn't even a planned thing. I woke up this morning not knowing I was going to meet him. I logged on the site after I got ready for the day. Then he mentioned that he was in the area, staying at a Sheraton hotel near Disneyland. I couldn't let this moment pass! So I said we should meet up real quick before I head to L.A this afternoon, even if to have a small chat at Starbucks. xD

Took us less than 10 minutes to arrive at the Sheraton hotel...the wrong Sheraton hotel, that is. =] We both had no idea that there were two Sheratons, and the one he was staying at was just right down the street. As soon as I got there, I was like, "Okay...where the heck is Jay?" 15 minutes later... "Hrm, I realized he might be nervous meeting me, but I didn't think he'd be THIS nervous that he refused to show up at the Lobby!" 25 minutes later...we asked around and found out there was another Sheraton. Haha.

So off we go again. Finally met Jay at the front of the other Sheraton, shook hands...felt awkward since it was too...diplomatic...so I gave him a bear hug too. =] We sat at this bar place, and just chatted. He was soooo nervous, lmao. I didn't wanna say anything but I noticed that he was cracking his knuckles (that wouldn't crack) quite a lot. The whole time I was trying not to laugh. And then he started calling me, "Boss" and I gave him a look. He's a very down-to-earth guy, a bit quiet though. xD And okay, I admit I was a bit nervous meeting him too but I don't think it showed...?

Surprisingly, we didn't really talk in our native tongue. We did talk about a few members here, but not too much. I think we both found it hard to talk about FFF for some reason. We chatted for almost an hour I think. And then towards the end there, I met his gorgeous mom.

But yeah, all in all, it was fun meeting up with him. Very cool guy. Shy, but really awesome! Hopefully we can meet up again when we stop by at San Diego sometime.

Haha I can finally post in this thread

I have met the lovely Big Casino.
We met in Bonnie wee Scotland in August and stayed together for a couple of weeks, It was awesome and he was really great.
It's nerve wrecking meeting someone for the first time, even when you've been talking to them for so long but there was no awkwardness and no weirdness, it was just great.
I have so many good and funny memories from that trip, like a certain someone smashing his head into glass and i can't wait to go back again in Feb.
