In an effort to have the Reputation System used as intended, I am making this thread to inform fellow RPers of how to make the best use of this system.

What is The Reputation System?

The Reputation System has been recently added to FFF, and allows for members to give others 'Reputation Points.' Below is a picture of the different portions of the Rep System, so members can more easily understand how to use it.

When To Use The Reputation System:

1.)
If a member makes a very impressive post, such as a very detailed and well-written RP post. RPers who are also showing a lot of improvement, should also be given some Rep Points. It's a way of giving encouragement and recognition.

2.)
If an RPer creates a very well-done and organized RP. There are plenty of new RP Storylines being created. Those RPers should be given some recognition for their hard work and their good ideas.

3.)
If a member offers up a very unique and innovative idea. Members can contribute a lot to a forum, and if someone has a great idea, then they should know you feel that way.

4.)
If a member wins a contest/competition/tournament. Reputation Points can be used as a 'Congrats!' The people that win contests on FFF, have put a lot of work into those competitions, and deserve some acknowledgment.

When NOT To Use The Reputation System:

1.)
Only on your friends.
The Reputation System doesn't allow for you to keep Repping the same people repeatedly, and it's for a reason. Members should focus on giving Rep Points to those that deserve them, and not just to their friends when they post something briefly funny or quirky.

2.)
To 'Get Back' at a member or Staff member.
The Reputation System should be focused on the positive points, not the negative ones. If a Moderator deletes a post of yours, or merges a thread you created, you should NOT give them a Negative Rep, just to 'get back at them.' If you have an issue with a Moderator, you should contact them, privately through a PM.

So Why Use The Reputation System?

Why? Because every member should feel appreciated for the effort they put into well-written and well-thought-out posts. Make good use of the Rep System, and happy posting!
