The WIP Thread

This one is going really bad. I ran out of white watercolor and so tried to mix watercolor with think arcrylic! *headdesk* Not to mention I shouldn't have been using watercolor on thick card anyway! The thing I mostly need to fix is er nose, and her right side is far to light and lacks proper tone.

And then these are just random.

A tonal study (black n white) using oil pastel of a pineapple. On brown parcel paper.

Aaah, you will see this when it finished- very very early days this photograph.

ALso, my thread appears to have disappeared...anyone know why?

It's not gone, just not on display. The default settings on this forum have it so that if no one's posted anything in your thread for over 45 days, it will simply be removed from display--however, it's still there, and you can still see it. Just look at the bottom for some display options, change it, then click on "Show Threads". Here's your thread: http://www.finalfantasyforums.net/artist-cafe/xhitsthespot-s-artwork-21832.html

I love it Avant! Great work on your shading.

The berries again, with most of the blueberries finished and the green of one of the strawberries (spoke not done yet).

Soem of you may notice- the blueberry on its on in the cnetre (slightly to the right) is behind two raspberries. My brother tried to ;finsih' coloring the blueberry and colored where its meant to be pink! Hopefully I can fix it though.

Very nice work Mandi! I love your chibi work the best, and they always look so cute!

Good work Ryan, why would you need to edit it, it doesn't look like it needs it at all.

Wow FFX, I can't wait to see the final piece of that! I love the colors and it's really starting to look beautiful

Here's a piece I've worked on just recently; I had to do it quickly though because I didn't want to forget the details of how the guy looked like. Ja, the picture is actually a drawing of a guy I actually saw at this restaurant; I'd say the picture looks pretty close, I surprise myself sometimes.

The game was quite popular when it was first out Tessbot. Went by the name Illusion of Time in many countries, including here. One of my favorite SNES games. Lovely work, as usual.

Started this ages ago- and only just got back to it. Fixed up the face a little ^ before I moved on.

This needs to be bumped. >.>

Cyphus Oe: I like the pose, the facial features and the way the hand juts out. I think there's a problem with the body structure as it seems to thin and frail to support the head, i.e. the body is too thin. xD

Maybe if you beef him up a bit then the whole picture would be perfect.

Anyways, here's my attempt at trying to finally get a perfectly proportioned face. I used gridlines in Photoshop to help me out. :ahmed:

I need critique! :gonk:

This thing desperately needs to be revived.

J from Heat Guy J; it's the scene where he saves these ladies being tricked into losing their ID, and they're about to be killed. They're stowed aboard some ship somewhere, and then he says something funny to them. At least funny, given the context that J is an android.

Well this is my first attempt at painting cause I really have a bad eye for selecting the right colors but I feel confident in this one if not for the limited amount of colors I used but how I used them

Also this is my first time on a canvas and I would really appreciate some pointers on mistakes I've made already and how to correct them
