Jake was baffled. Hudson had never seen a fighter jet before?
Jake didn't have time to think on it as another missile came speeding by. Jake dodged to the side and did a back-flip, whacking the missile with his tail and sending it into the air to explode.
Jake whirled and took off after Hera, who had also dodged the missile and shot off after the jet. It was coming towards them at super-sonic speeds, so it only took two seconds before it whizzed past the flying warriors.
But Jake turned around and his gut turned to ice. Hera had swung his sword as he passed over the fighter plane, severely damaging the wing and sending the plane careening.
Straight for Hudson.
Both Hera and Jake roared at the top of their lungs, "Get out of there, Hudson!"

"Hudson, get out of there!"
Yelled both Hera and Jake. Hudson had seen why: The large metal bird contraption was going straght for him!
Was it out of control? Was it trying to attack? No time to think!
Hudson's energy had shot directly down to his legs as his body began to move, nad partly out of instinct at that. Panic, had his mind racing so quickly that time seemed to slow down. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, as he cursed himself for losing his cool so easily.
The panic itself had run it's course within an instant, from which he had arrived at a conclusion: "Wait a minute...!"
No bird, metal or otherwise, was going to frighten him! With all the calm that he could muster, Hudson arched his head towards the sky to stare down the contraption. Standing his ground, his muscles tightened and flexed with anticipation. From here, it seemed that there were only three seconds left until it would come crashing into him.
[i]Three seconds...[i]
His teeth clenched...
Two seconds...
He pivoted his supporting left foot as he lifted his right at the knee in preparation for a side kick...
One second...
Wait, wasn't that a human!?
Too late!
Bam!
His side kick had connected with the contraption's nose. Had he not put enough energy into his defense?
The metal bird had crumpled upon impact, erupting in a shower of glass and metal. Hudson himself had been driven back at least thirty or fourty feet.
"No... Don't let it drive you back! Be like the unmoving rock!"
He was gritting his teeth, pushing back with his leg as hard as he could. Leg extended, muscles strained, his skin and clothing were torn and scratched from the glass and metal spray. He had stopped from being pushed back. The crash impact had still enough force to drive him into the ground, supporting pivoted leg first. He was in the ground a little past his kneecaps.
A little longer and he was in the ground up towards his inner thigh, with dirt collecting even more. The contraption with all of it's sound and fury, had now stopped completely, and dropped to the ground.
With his remaining strength, Hudson pulled his leg out of the ground and brushed himself off. The left side of his cheeck was now bleeding, thanks to a stray piece of glass. There were in fact several pieces still in his skin.
He had fallen in a heap next to the ruined metal mess. He was drained and had never taken such a blow using his fighting ability combined with his wild energy. But he was happy. He had felt as if he had gotten a little stronger. And now he was drained.
"Goddammit that hurts!"

Hera's natural warrior instincts kicked in, and he took control immediately following the previous occurrence. "Jake," he rapped, "You see to Hudson, I'll check on the pilot." His tone of voice left no room for argument; this was an emergency, and his word was final.
Jake shot down to Hudson and knelt beside the crumpled figure. "Dammit man, why'd you do that? It would have been a lot smarter just to dodge and let it crash!" Despite Hudson's predicament, Jake couldn't help but admire his strength and determination. He'd completely demolished the plane, which was lying in a broken heap a few feet away.
Hera sifted through the remains of the crumpled jet, shoving metal fragments and plates this way and that, slashing through the wiring with his tail blade, until he finally got to the pilot. All courtesy ignored, Hera grabbed the pilot by his jump suit and hoisted him up into the air.
"Alright, human, what's your damage?" Jake couldn't help but smirk at the uncharacteristic phrase his grandfather had just uttered. "What in the hell were you doing, attacking us out of the blue?"
The human chuckled, and his helmet fell off, revealing glowing eyes and semi-scaly skin. Hera was revolted, but his face remained furiously resolute, and his black eyes pierced the man like twin needles. "Answer me! What is the meaning of this attack?"
"Ordered to deter...keep you from the nuclear silos...hehehe, you'll never stop the nuke now, alien. Say bye-bye Kanto, hehehe." With that, the man went limp, falling victim to the metal fragment that was embedded in his side.
Hera threw the man softly into the dirt, his hearts screaming with rage and sorrow at what the man was implying. They were going to use an atomic bomb on Kanto, in Japan. The province wasn't that big, and a nuclear assault would demolish whatever city was to be struck.
Jake took stock of his grandfather's reaction and quickly turned his attention back to Hudson. Hera needed time to think, and Hudson's injuries weren't something that would go away over night. From what Jake could tell, the majority of the injuries were superficial, and few (if any) had penetrated the skin so far as to cause serious damage. Jake was no doctor, though, and this may not have been the case.
"Hudson, if you don't mind, I'm going to have a look at the wounds you got. I don't think you have anything serious, but it needs to be treated as soon as possible."
OOC: So, Jake implied it, and I'm gonna say it: do you mind if I start extracting the glass from Hudson's body? It's up to you to decide how serious the injuries are (hence my emphasis that Jake couldn't really tell for sure), but in order for Jake to help Hudson, I need your permission to remove the glass from his body. Don't wanna god-mod, you know

((OOC: I understand perfectly. ANd you have my permission))
Yes it was true. Hudson was exhausted. But he was happy. He was satisfied, and he was discovering that he was bruised more than he was cut. The endorphinal high dulled the pain of the glass. All he wanted was just a moment to be high and sunny off his own body's chemicals.
His legs muscles were the most bruised. When the high, wore off, oain would be humming through his legs with every heart beat. It also turned out that his right side had gotten the worst of the debris spray. There was a scrap or two of metal dotting his chest, jutting out through his clothing. No vital organ were hit, as the wounds were shallow. A little bit of soap, alcohol, and rest would work like magic. Though the satisfaction of standing up to such an odd contraption felt like magic itself. He was bleeding quite freely from his face and coat though, because at this point in time, blood loss was the only thing to be concerned about.
"What the hell were those things..."
He didn't care hwho he was speaking to. He just wanted to ask the question. He was enjoying the endorphinal high a bit too much. His voice was becoming slower and lower. He was beginning to drift off into bliss and sleep. But he needed to tell them the truth about himself.

"Yo, stay with us here," Jake said. He spoke softly, but there was still a hint of urgency in his voice. With quick, sharp movements of his claws, Jake began to pluck the glass and metal fragments from Hudson.
"That was a plane," Jake said, answering Hudson's previous question. "A fighter jet, really. They're machines that can fly. I still can't believe you tried to take one out with just a kick. You're insane." Jake moved down Hudson's body, plucking out pieces of glass and metal here and there. There were some where he actually had to widen the cuts so that he could reach in with his claws.
"That was an idiotic thing to do." Jake heard Hera's voice and couldn't help but think that his grandfather was right; you don't just kick something that's coming at you at near-sonic speeds.
The Allsie walked up and started working on Hudson alongside Jake, turning the injured warrior on his side. He started on Hudson's back, while Jake worked on the front. "Even if you were from a planet without machines, it's only common sense that you don't just stand there when something is coming at you as fast as the jet did." Hera shook his head. "You should learn from this."
Jake knew his grandfather was being harsh, but that's only because Hudson had made an idiotic move that could have cost him his life. It almost did, and Hudson was in rough shape.
It only took a few moments more to remove the last of the glass, and both the Allsie and the Dragon looked over Hudson's bloody body just to make sure. After a quick triple-check, both of them nodded and stood up. Luckily, the majority of the shards hadn't run too deep into the skin, so instead of being layered in blood, there were simply several trickles that came from the smaller wounds. The larger lacerations were far bloodier, and it would take time to heal them.
"Well, this will set us back," Hera sighed. "Wouldn't matter anyways; I don't think we'd be able to stop the nukes in time."

((Let see if I can write myself out of another corner... and pick up where I left off...))
"Listen Hera..."
He didn't care what toll his little stunt had taken on his body. It was a matter of pride for him. There's no way that he'd be able to take out something moving that fast regularly.
"I had come to that exact same conclusion halfway through contraption. I mean, think about the facts for a moment. The only conceivable difference between my world and this -aside from obvious physical ones- is that mine runs on magic over technology. Even so, our world's most powerful weapons by logic are extraordinarily complicated to ready or disarm."
Hudson pauused for a moment to catch his breath and get to his feet. The wounds weren't that deep, but the blood loss from the small ones was beginning to get to him. In a few moments it would become more difficult to stand as his back retreated to a hunched position. The heat from the sun wasn't doing him any good either as it beat down on the three of them. He wondered for a moment how Allsies were taking the heat, since they certainly weren't human.
"Listen Hera, whoever had those weapons, and whoever was firin' them obviously neither wanted nor expected you to get to them in time. Look, supposing that you and Jake -gods know I can't keep up with the two of you- do make it, and the possession of these "nukes" fall into your hands for a long enough time to disable them. How? And even if you did know, wouldn't you think they'd have thought far ahead enough to see something like this coming? The way I see it, it might just be a feint, or a fake."

Julius found himself newly walking on a barren wasteland, with the blaze of the scorching sun taking its heavy told on his weary shoulders. Although most of his genes completed a successful biological reconstruction, it has been quite long since Julius had some nourishment. Now that he thought about it, he had found no desire for normal food ever since he injected himself with Sukani's cells. He wondered if he would be able to fully restore his energy by infusing himself with more of Sukani's blood.
Julius realized he lacked many options, so opting for a massive dragon-blood transfusion would suffice for now. But first, he needed to find a way of this hellhole.

Hera shook his head. "You're right; it would be idiotic to just rush in there like that. We wouldn't make it in time to re-direct the nukes, much less destroy them. No, we have to keep going." He jerked his chin at Hudson's body, indicating the wounds. "We'll be at the coastal city soon, but not soon enough for those wounds to heal over. They'll be alright by the time we get there, but you won't be able to do much travelling."
"Yeah," Jake said, frowning. Hudson had taken quite the beating from the fighter jet. "Look, you'd better ride on my back. It'll make the trip faster, and you won't need to run or anything to keep up. That way your body will use all its energy to heal."
Hera reflected a moment and nodded decisively. "Yes, that's a good idea Jake." He looked Hudson straight in the eye. "Are you alright with that?"
((OOC: Yadayadayada, once again, can I do a bit of god-modding here? It'll speed things up and let us get to the UK faster. God knows Julius is being coy with his nuke >__>))

Time passed, and Sukani gained fulled control of Julius's body and now he had one objective in mind: total destruction. As the black monster spread its wings, an ill wind raised from the north bringing the cries of lament and sorrow, a chanting that was so pleasant to Sukani's ears. The fiendish dragon, almost with an appearance becoming less human and more monstrous, bent his knees and then propelled himself high into the sky. As the demon rushed through the heavens and into the clouds, he made a full circle spin, stopped and then he turned to the direction where Japan was located. With malicious eyes, Sukani took a mouthful of air as if he were gloating itself with all the sorrow and pain he was about to cause, and then he gave out a seemingly inhuman and gruesomely d | | | |
