Fair_Game does RPB good? Or bad?

With the advent of the Mentorship program, I'm considering enlisting. I'm not saying I'm a bad RPer, nor am I claiming to be a good one. I'm simply all for learning and definitely know some seriously talented RPers in this forum.

So, I've started a few battles. One with Prof13, one with Red Fox, and another with Red Fox in the tournament.

If I were to be completely harsh on myself I'd say I have a problem with staying in character, I forget my surroundings more often than not and I'm terrible with dialogue.

I think I create ok characters, and employ ok skills. I think I'm creative when it comes to character creation and I've actually had one or two characters get approved with NO edits. I kinda pride myself on that.

But I want to know what other RPers think.

So here's a link to my newest character (that I'd really like feedback on)
Bo Roshawn

Please, Feeds me Back!

Seems like a perfectly fine bio, I would prefer a bit more history as I think this tells more about characters then anything else then again it doesn't seem like there is much more to him yet.

I read your tournament battle so far and I think you're a really good RPer especially in the beginning both of you made long and very detailed posts. It does seem like they keep getting shorter as the battle progresses which is something you might want to watch out for. Then again it might just be me.

EDIT:
I'll admit though that I haven't actually read anything about your characters abilities only personality history and appearance.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, I too notice a substantial drop in post length as I progress through battles. I'm uncertain as to the exact reasons for the drop, but I usually assume that my excitement pushes me to post before the posts are ready.

Both Belselk and Bo Roshawn are new characters that I haven't fully fleshed out yet. And the bullet-point history gives me a starting place and allows me a freedom of places to go. For instance, as I've progressed with Belselk I've developed area's of his character I never would have found without battle.

Battle-hardened really is something that has to happen. I hypothesize that I'm not the only one who requires a battle or two before the character becomes real. I plan on rewriting some of their bio's after battling a little more with them.

Thanks again.
