What a grim statement, but quite correct at the same time.


Though I tend not to focus on age, I see too old as 45+. However I think it's down to how determined you are to live life to the full to the very end, and my attitude will probably change growing older.

I went to university when I was 20 after taking 2 years out from school (not by choice). I've almost finished my first year but throughout I've had a part-time job 3 evenings a week and now have a second one during the day to keep me busy. It's a good opportunity to earn some money through the summer to keep me going on top of my student loan. Borrowing the money doesn't bother me, I'll pay it back when the time comes.

I adore being at uni. Don't let your age put you off! You're still so young! There are a few people on my course in their 30's nd 40's and plenty more around campus. You should definately go for it if that's what you want to do with your life. Don't have any regrets.
