Should this guy be held accountable?
So basically some guy is getting sued because his girlfriend stayed in his bathroom for over two years.

Ok, if someone was in the bathroom for over three hours I start to worry but two years?
However, I'm not sure if he should be sued for this. It wasn't like she was being held captive.

I'd hardly blame him for it happening but the pillock could have at least raised the alarm...if someone was sat on my loo for 2 hours Id start to get worried

We can live in hope that there was a second bathroom in the place, the other option would be just so wrong.
From the sounds of it the guy must not be right in the head either, who would let someone stay on the toilet for two years?
It's all pretty laughable in the end (I can just imagine all the phone calls when her family were told she was unavailable at the time as she was in the toilet) but the guy probably shouldn't get sued since he's probably as crazy tbh.

I had to laugh at this quote:

So it took him two years to actually tell someone...even her family and even though he would have had to feed her and give her drinks (unless she had made some sort of faeces cycle) . To be honest the case is quite laughable and I'd love to see what his defence would be if he came up in court

Who is suing him? Her? I read in the paper that she didn't want to leave...since she got stuck. Must be pretty embaressing to be stuck on a toilet like xD
Not to mention uncomfortable to sleep on O_O
The whole case is really just laughable though, it's a minor problem that carried on for way too long O_O

Totally. The guy was an idiot.
You don't let someone sit their ass on your toilet for two years without coming out/getting up and do nothing. That's just retarded.
Ugh.
The guy should have his ass sued to cunting hell and back, and miss mahassislodgedinthetoilet should be placed in one of those psych wards or someplace where someone else can take care of her stupid ass and make sure it doesn't get stuck to the toilet again.

I swear there are so many weird crazy people out there.
I honestly cannot answer the question of whether the guy should be sued or not...because this case is entirely bizarre and just...out of this world. I wouldn't know how to deal with it.
But I agree with Scrutator. Clearly, those two are demented. Hmm, I just wonder what the woman had to say about the matter though. Too bad they didn't include that bit of info.

The guy didn't do anything but let her stay in the bathroom... the dude's defense will have a field day with these charges... and where did it say he was being sued? He's being brought up on charges, but I didn't see where it said he was being sued.

being charged/sued are interchangable really, they result in the same thing.
