Diana, Princess of Wales.
After many MSN discussions with Bambi over Diana, I thought it was about time a thread was made about her.
Yes, I acknowledge the fact that she was an amazing woman, who touched the lives of millions, and that she will always be adored. But, I for one, am really sick and tired of her death being in the news every single day. And now this Inquest thing, 11 years on, do we really care how she died anymore? Do we want to disprove all the conspiracy theories? Do we want to hear about how her old Butler saw her doing blah with blah de blah?
I think, it's time that the media and everyone else just let her rest in peace, it's sick that people like Paul Burrel have made millions from gossiping about a dead woman.

Hmm, I never really thought about it that much until reading this actually, like when I see things on the news about her and that. You do make a good point though, it's about time people stopped making such a fuss about this. Recognising her for all the good that she did is one thing, but all of these theories and gossip sprouting up about her death are really unnecessary, whatever happened to having respect for the dead?

Honestly, what has it been now? 10 whole years? And yet there are still conspiracy theories in the news and stuff. I wish they would just drop it now it's getting beyond ridiculous
How her boys must feel seeing this constantly dragged up is anyones guess, princes or not. They are still the poor womans children
I know if I was in that situation Id just want to get on the best I could not have some idiots keep dragging it up

Actually i think that they would want closure, to finally find out, once and for all, what lead to the death of their mother. The result of the inquest wouldnt stop the rumours altogether, but it would go along way to doing so.
and her children arent poor young boys, they are grown up and im sure they can handle it

I agree completely. It's become a media circus, and a distraction from much more important things. Mr Al-Fayed is the only one making murder allegations now, but he isn't really a reliable source after he called the Royal Family "vampires". XD
However, it was suspicious when some coroner who examined her body looked rather sweaty and careful of what to say. Could have been threatened. Who knows?
