Baby born with two faces
In India, there was a baby girl born with two faces. Nothing in this article says anything about siamese twins. It sounds more like the zygote started to split and then stopped. Luckily for this child, many people in India are seeing her as a goddess.

Actually, I think that's more likely to be unlucky, she will be put on display, like a kind of freak show, same thing happens when you have children born with more than one set of arms. Because there are millions of people in India with absolutely no money at all people are able to buy children like this, she probably has a lot of siblings, and the parents may feel it would be better if they could earn money from her to support them and their other children.
I feel so sorry for her, she will never have a normal life or even a childhood, but I suppose stuff like this happens

True, but I would think that being treated like a goddess would be better than being treated like an outcast.

That scared me....... whats the difference of being treated like a outcast and goddess. Your still being treated diffrently than every one else. She's not gonna get rich off of that. Like Placebo said her parents will use her for money.

Agreed, it would probably be the lesser of two evils. She'd get well fed and looked after to a certain extent.
A godess is beter than a pariah, but not by much

Because in Asian countries (typically the developing countries), that is where severe deficiencies of zinc, folic acid, and iron intake by pregnant women are high in numbers. Micronutrients deficiencies, if you will.
But yes, this is very sad. It isn't a laughable matter at all. I've seen a lot of deficiencies and it really breaks my heart because I know that most of the time, it isn't really the parent's faults either. (Yes, I am aware the others blame parents, especially by doing drugs while pregnant, etc.) But in this case, it is a somewhat understandable case as a developing country should very well speak for itself. Food and nutrients are very scarce in 3rd world countries, along with all kinds of problems, and so the many results such as this...

...that's intense. I wonder how that'll work. Will both faces speak...or will one just sorta be for show while the other functions...

Well, at the very least, shes being regarded as a Goddess.
Seems her life would not be that bad. For now, that is | | | |
