I don't know what Unphased intentions are for the group on their way out. Since status effects and Ap don't seem to regenerate outside of battle, Sage decided he was going to give everyone in the party a break for a change and since killing Cloud doesn't seem to be an effective idea for furthering the groups goal Sage decided to give Unphased a chance to explain everything that needed to be explained. You know, without the hassle of having to revive Cloud.
So basically everyone can rest up, heal up and Cloud can explain whatever he needs to explain. Plus, its just plain cool.
Oh yeah, the blast radius of a hand grenade is relatively small. You'd probably be safe if you were in an open area and standing a good couple yards away from the blast zone. Not to mention, I don't think Cloud is stupid enough to release the trigger and kill himself. So yeah, no ones dying.

You HAVE to increase the length of your posts. Your recent post was way too short to be acceptable. Please edit it and make it more detailed, or I will have to remove it. Also, keep in mind, as Fair_Game said, that the range of a grenade is relatively small, and no one except for Cloud is in any sort of danger.

A few quick things I wanted to ask you / point out. A player's individual stats for combat are already defined by myself. They are located in your profiles. In the first post of the RP thread, there is a profiles section and it has a link to all of yours.
Also, this is set after AC/DC (hence the EC title). ShinRa is pretty non-existant now aside from Rufus' little band of himself, Rude, Reno and some grunts.
Lastly, I don't know of your intentions, and if you intended to switch sides or something, but such a character would not work in the set-up of this stats-based RP unfortunately (it's one of the down-sides). You being a 'bad guy' won't work overall, so I really need to know what you intended with that.

Who said I was being a bad guy? Me working with Rufus Shinra doesn't necessarily place me as bad guy. Secondly, I have already fixed my post, so feel free to look at it again.
Also, Shinra Organization does exist, although their influence over Midgar has greatly decreased after the original President Shinra was assassinated, and also after Rufus's "death" which turned out that he survived. But Ok, I'll pretend they were completely "erased" after the events of VIII 
In my next post, I'll say that my character was fired as he was suspected of treason....how's that? Nah, I guess it wouldn't work, would it?
If that doesn't works, I'll simply delete my posts, and start all over again :wink:
