this is true.
but a smaller town, ironically, rumors, and news, travel slower in them
since they don't tend to have networks of various types of people around to spread them.
Also, it is more normal to have them go there. since it is smaller, and ironically, easier to blend

Because sorceresses have to release their power before dying...and thats what Ultimecia did, after that she died...she did not create any "alternative time".
She was dead already even before giving the power to Edea...she was just a soul trying to find another sorceress to pass on her powers.
So Ultimecia could never be alive...no matter what theory you pull.

Well, there is another way, she did control sorceresses over time. Maybe there is a new sorceress in this time which Ultimecia is controlling?

She isn't though, who else could she be controlling? Edea already has been controlled, she may have changed sorceresses to a new one nobody knows of.
