Apocalypse

New world.
New rules.
New threat.

The dawning of the twenty-first century was when everything changed. There were even worse things than terrorists themselves. For the first time, the supernatural creatures that hid in the shadows in fear of humans finally came to life and decided to take the world back. In the year 2012, New York was hit with a nuclear explosion, which wiped out millions of innocent people. Every country in the world divided its land into sectors. Identification cards had to be present all the time, the police were given special power over civilians and nothing was ever the same again ...

Now one year later, a new organisation has come together as the new solution to save the world. Only known as The Avengers, this group is solely responsible for local, national and worldwide threats. They specialise in dealing with the supernatural. But there are traitors in the world that will want to stop The Avengers. Saving the world will not be an easy task in itself, it will require one step at a time to finally work. Question is, will the world be saved? Or is it beyond reparation?

Note: This is a futuristic Role Play with supernatural elements contained inside, so anything is possible. Your character may also be supernatural themselves, be an Avenger or be against them, or even perhaps work as a double agent.

Personality: Shooter is a closed of person who enjoys solitude and being alone, has a sense of humour that is waisted as he spends as little time with others as humanly possible.

Appearance: standing at 6 feet tall Stephen has a muscular build he is clean shaven with short brown hair that has blond highlights in it, he styles it depending on his day and mood. he wears black wrinkled jeans and a skin tight white T-shirt, he wears a pair of black hiking boots. he has a tattoo that takes up most of the space on the left side of his Torso and also his Left arm

Bio:although he is very young he still defends people from the supernatural as most of his family were in New York when it went nuclear. he always carries his two guns no matter where he goes, although when he goes grocery shopping he only carries his Beretta.

Telepathy
This allows Faith to basically read minds. However, there are different levels of this ability. There are strong rumours that the user could create illusions in a single or multiple minds, depending on the mind's strength itself. As well as reading minds, she is able to access the mind's memories, possibly alter or wipe them out altogether. Mind control is also one strong possibility to emerge from telepathy, although this requires a strong degree of self-control.

Telekinesis
Usually used as Faith's primary weapon. This power allows Faith to move almost anything with her mind; this requires a strong degree of focus and self-control. The more that the user is able to perform this anomalistic ability, the more heavier objects could be lifted. Telekinesis can also freeze the object involved altogether and send it in another direction as well. In addition to this, telekinesis can also produce psychic shields as a form of protection.

Flight
A useful, yet rarely used power that Faith only activates as an emergency. Flying takes her to high heights, possibly into space if she wanted to. It is not impossible for her to carry someone when flying, although this would be physically demanding. Out of the three abilities she possesses, Faith does not need any concentration of self-control for flying.

Personality: Very sociable and always wanting to lead everyone forward, Faith's spirit is driven by confidence and determination that seem almost unbreakable, considering how courageous she is.

Bio: Faith Crest never had an easy childhood. When there were signs of supernatural life forms emerging on the earth, she had to keep on being forced into hiding because her godmother, Patricia Musso, was one of their targets. Patricia was a well-known scientist who could explain a lot of things. Moving from country to country before the supernatural became exposed to the world, Faith discovered she may have possibly been part supernatural when she developed psychic powers that changed her life forever. For the first time, she began to question her own existence and wanted to know the mystery surrounding her birth.

In the year 2012, Faith was separated from Patricia shortly after her 21st birthday. They were both on holiday in New York at the time and Faith was witness to the nuclear explosion that completely and utterly destroyed the city. There were signs of radioactive energy inside of her body when she awoke in the hospital, but her immune system was able to fight back and she lived to tell the tale, although the energy could have been weakened severely and may still remain in her body. Patricia was killed in the explosion, prompting Faith to hunt down the supernatural creatures that caused millions of deaths. That was when she first encountered The Avengers ...

The leader at the time, known only as Mr X, brought Faith to their facility in London, where their activities went on. It was only a year later that after she was trained to fight the creatures, Faith witnessed Mr X being shot dead by their enemies. The enquiry into Mr X's death was launched and they caught the ones responsible. Condemning them to death, Faith saw his will and realised that she was to take control of The Avengers. Establishing herself as the leader of The Avengers six months prior to his death, Faith now faces the impossible task of saving and rebuilding the world that remains a lost cause.

High Speed: Filden can move at high speeds after the explosion. He can run to speeds of up 120 miles per hour. He can carry people whilst running, but of course, the heavier the person, the more stamina required, and it would also slow him down.

Invisibility: What helped Filden get his Alias, Stealth. Due to this ability, he makes a very good spy, and is often used to investigate areas and check the dangers there.

Personality:Filden has been known to be quite loud and cocky. He is outgoing and tends to have trouble keeping certain opinions to himself, (basically, he speaks his mind)

He has a habit of complaining, and has quite a bad case of OCD, so he doesn't take too kindly to messes. Filden is very wise when it comes to money, saying that he has to be with how much ninjutsu costs.

Despite the way in which is acts sometimes, he is a good person at heart and does have a strong sense of right and wrong. But, he has been taught to be quite cold, but he has always had trouble with this, so he decides to save it for the battlefield.

Appearence: Filden is quite muscular, and is in very good shape due to his constant running exercises in order to keep his speed at it's peek. He is quite tanned due to usually working outside.

Filden's hair is brown and very short spikes, the top part of his hair faces upwards, while the sides and back all stick out at about a 20 degree angle outwards and points down. Filden's face is 16cms in height and 11cms in width, his ears are 4cm in lengh and 2cm wide, and his eyes are 2cm in heigh and 2cm in lengh and are dark green. He has a scar under his left eye.

Filden is 5ft 7, and he weights 11 stone 2, his legs make up half of his height, and his waist lengh is 33 inches. He wears 16-17 clothing.

Attire: Filden wears a green polo shirt, the V of the shirt reaches 8cms down, and has three buttons, and the colar is 2.7cm in height. Over the shirt he wears a brown sleevless jacket, which has overall six pockets, two pockets on his chest, two on his front stomach, and the other two on the sides, 13cm under his armpits, the pockets are all 13cm in height, and 10cm in width, and all have zippers.

Filden wears black combat trousers, reaching down to his ankles, and they have 2 side pockets, and 2 rear pockets, and 2 pockets that on the side of his knees. All pockets are velcro and 12cm in height and 7cm in width. He wears black boots with grey laces.

Filden wears brown gloves with cuffs that strech 7cm from his wrist. He also has green goggles that he wears around his neck. the spectacle of each goggle is 3cm height and 4cm width.

Bio:Filden was born into a rich family. His father was a High Summoner, while his mother was a successful business woman who ran a successful media empire. He had everything he could possibly want, his parents could afford everything they wanted, with the fame of his father, and the wealth of his mother, Filden had a fantastic life...

One day though, when Filden was seven, Filden was in his bedroom sleeping, his mother way adding up her income in the study, whilst his father was reading in the library. "Knock knock!" The door went loudly...their was a moment of silence as his mother dropped what she was doing, and his father stopped reading...Filden remained sleeping. Both of the parents got up, and began making their way to the front door.

Both of the parents enter the main hall at the same time...they eventually noticed each other...Beverly approached her husband and gripped his hand tightly with both of her hands...Jaque then rested his other hand on hers. They then both slowly approached the door...Jaque then went to open the door..."Bang Bang Bang!" Machine gun bullets pelted right through the door, striking the couple...

Both bodys began dropping...with each one making sure that one hand was holding the hand of the other...their eyes widened as more and more bullets went through their body...then the bullets stopped...The couple eventually hit the floor...staring into each other's eyes...as a tear came down the side of Beverly...

The rucus awoke Filden...he rubbed one eye and jumped off his bed, he then began walking downstairs...thinking it was just the TV...Filden was completely unaware of what he was about to see...

...The blood drenched body's of his parents...Filden's eye widened in fear as he saw this...tears came down from both eyes...he dropped to the floor onto his knees, as he began crying fully...

...Five hours later, Filden's uncle, Ed Gurito, came charging through the doors with the police squad and forensics behind him...Ed gasped as he saw his sister...and his brother-in-law. He then noticed Filden crying across the hall. He ran over to his nephew, and hugged him...

Ever since then, Filden has lived with Ed...living with him in his flat, eventually getting used to the drop from a high class life to a middle class life. Managing to get over the things he saw when he reached 10...realising that, as his father always told him, "Life goes on..." He simply continued living on as his uncle's apprentice, hoping to one day become a full mechanic.

But recently...a changed of events have occured...Filden was on a business trip with Ed at the time, when the nuclear explosion of 2012 went off. Ed and Filden managed to survive...but Filden was exposed to quite a high level of radiation.

Filden gained his abilites due to this...and after moving back home to London, he was discovered by a group called the Avengers. He now works with them as a spy, and a scout.

Abilities:

Strength- Alex has extraordinary strength, even for a man of his already impressive size. Without the need for activation, he can punch holes through walls, lift cars with little effort, and bend most metals.
Iron Skin- Alex's outer skin is also nearly impervious to standard damage. Small-arms fire and hand-to-hand combat is nearly pointless to engage in. Heavy fire will still deal damage, however.
Transformation- Alex can transform, which nearly triples his size. This also vastly increases his strength and endurance, allowing to absorb almost any impact. However, he can only maintain this form for a short amount of time.

It should be noted that Alex is not very agile, due to his size and strength. He has fairly good leaping ability, and can run fairly quickly once he gets to speed, but he cannot react quickly to most attacks, and depends on his endurance to make up for this.

Appearance: Alex is of average height, about 5'11". However, he is very powerfully built. He has very short blond hair, kept military-style at all time. No facial hair. On his face, there is a large scar running down the right side of his face, directly over his right eye. As a result, he wears a patch over the right eye, but his left eye is still intact (ice-blue in color). Under the patch, his eye is milky white and useless, but he dislikes the way it looks, so he wears the patch.

Alex wears whatever the situation calls for. As politican, he wears three-piece suits with red ties. As the Iron Hammer, he wears a red full-body wetsuit-type of garment. It is extremely stretchy, which is necessary for his abilities...

Personality: Alex is a ruthless leader, both of his former country's zone and of the Black Hand. His only goal is a more dominant Russia, and he will do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. However, he also understand the political game, and is an excellent deceiver. He is adept at public speaking, and the people of Russia adore him. When crossed, Alex's temper is legendary.

Bio: No one really knows where Alex came from, not even himself. Many legends have filled that void of information, but the truth is much more frightening...

Alex was part of the Romanov family, the descendants of the former czars of Russia. Due in part to the upheavel of the early 21st century, the current political system wanted to be rid of all Romanovs, so Alex's family was rounded up late at night and slated for "disposal" when he was 18. Alex was kept secretly by the military for experimentation for Serum 142-X, the "Super Soldier" serum. The experiments didn't go quite as planned, though...

Alex broke free, killing his captors and vanishing into the night. The government was terrified, and searched the country high and low for the loose Romanov. While they searched, Alex was traveling the globe, seeking the deadliest assassins to form a secret order, the Black Hand. Once he found them, the Black Hand returned to Russia and destroyed the standing government.

Alex then took the podium, claiming his birthright as Romanov and declaring that Russia's government had fallen to foreign aggression. He told the people they must band together for Russia's glory. The people responded by declaring Alex their new Premier. Alex quickly dispatched with democracy and made Russia an autocratic state once more. Most people didn't mind, due to the happenings in the world around them, all they wanted was for their home to be great, like it once was.

Alex leads a double life. One side of him is the Russian Premier, engaging in battles of words with other nations across the world. The other side is far more sinister, leading an elite group of supernatural assassins towards a single objective: the destruction of the Avengers...

Supernatural fitness: Jet's fitness is beyond that of a normal humans, due to extensive training in isolation. This includes physical strength, speed, and endurance. It also makes him a quick healer, and most wounds are usually healed naturally. Only a few, such as fractured bones and amputation, actually must be tended to.

Purity: through extensive time alone, Jet has blocked his thoughts to evil ideas. As such, Jet cannot be swayed from that which he believes, making him a loyal ally. It also refers to his physical health, as extensive attacks from multiple posionus animals make him immune to poisons natural and artificial.

Hermit Wisdom:Living alone in the wilderness away from all civilization, Jet has learned many different natural cures to many different injuries and ailments, including a cure to the common cold. Also, he knows many different vital points to all sorts of species, making him a powerful fighter. As such, he if often sought out in times of war.

Personality:Jet is a friendly person to most people, but if somebody tries to force him to do something against his will, he is probably the darkest person you will ever meet. Pretty much, he only serves what he believes in, and nothing else. Jet is an extremely friendly person though, and has many friends throughout the world who keep him updated on the current status.

Appearance:Jet looks like a normal 30 year old man, with a few key differences. One of these differences are his eyes, the twin beasts. One of them seems to be filled with green fire. The other shows a glimpse of his vast wisdom. Another one of these differences is that he wears camouflage because he sometimes has to hide in plain sight in the jungles. Finally, his hair is dyed silver so as to stand out in a crowd.

Bio: Jet was born in a futuristic city, and becoming irritated with the life there, he fled at age 10 with only a few supplies to the wilderness. Soon after, he found an old monk under attack from twin tigers. Jumping in to help with a stolen dagger,Jet and the old monk scared away the tigers. After introducing himself as Blue, the old monk took Jet to his isolation house. There he taught Jet the essentials of living in the wilds. One year later, the monk died in his sleep, leaving only a note saying that Jet knew enough to take on his title of General Silver and become the hermit of the woods. 19 years later, Jet felt the ground rumble and traveled to the his old home of New York, discovering with shock that it had been nuked. Seeking to avenge his home, Jet joined the Avengers under the alias of General Silver and fought the Supernatural with cold hatred. One year later, with the war at it's peek, Jet is now a famous warrior and is praised by all who see him.
