And because not everyone shares these opinions, they can't be voiced? Well clearly not everyone thinks that being mistaken for an aircraft carrier all the time is a healthy lifestyle choice. So perhaps that's just YOUR opinion and you've entered a world of complete mootness. We can use logical arguments to help EDUCATE the other side of your mindset and how you see the issue, or you can complain about how awful it is when people have opinions.
To me, it seems terribly immature.
But that's just my opinion.

You can express your opinions, granted its within the guidelines of the forum, but you shouldn't force them on other people. There's clearly a difference.
And so far, I can't see how being sucked inside someone's flabs could be logical. Surely, I've never seen that many people that fat before.

Well I feel you're forcing your opinions on me right now. Is it possible for a moderator to warn himself?

Cool Teen, this is NOT forcing his opinion on anyone, this is him STATING what should and shouldn't be done on the forums. There are certain things called rules which, funnily enough, you have to abide by. You can have an opinion on this. If it entails you believing someone is an aircraft carrier, and can suck someone into their gut, defying gravity, then so be it. However, you cannot simply say what you believe to be fact actually IS fact, end of story. You have to be considerate of other peoples feelings, not to mention forum rules which, by the way, I suggest you read very carefully.

Who is the one who draws the distinction between "forcing one's opinion" and "stating" one's opinion? Because this is a pretty blurry line and is already making me suspect that you can pin anyone you dislike as "forcing their opinion on someone else" and ban them.
I do not think that I was forcing my opinion on them. If they had to go crying to the mods because they got proven wrong when I debunked their arguments via my opinions and researched facts, then that's their problem. Mods should not step in between two members and start making ambiguous accusations because someone is losing a debate.
Shouldn't a moderator be unbiased? Don't take sides in an argument. I did not flame anyone, I merely stated my opinions. If I stated my opinions harsher than you would like, well, you can't control every word that someone writes. You really just have to relax sometimes. If Vulcan was too offended to continue the discussion, he should back off, which it looks like he did. You're the one dragging this out. It would be over right now if you would let it go. Sometimes you just have to let go and not be in your member's faces all the god damn time.

Suspect what you like, but I'm not randomly going to pick on someone, i.e you, just for the hell of it, so I'd appreciate if you got that out of your head, AND out of your posts.

Researched facts? Did you completely forget all about your aircraft carriers comments, behemoth, and being sucked into the gut of an obese person? Did you forget you called all obese people "MENACES"? I wouldn't call this a researched fact, nor would I call your posts part of any debate of any kind.

It seems we come back to the "joke" definition as in SARS's thread. I'm not talking in this thread as a moderator, I'm talking in this thread as a person who is classed "obese", and, frankly, I do not appreciate you unrealistic comments. If I did let this go, yes, it would be over. Additionaly, you would get away with blatently insulting all obese people, which I will not allow. THIS is where you are flaming - no one directly, just EVERY obese person in the frickin' world.
