I felt like this was the best place to put this thread but feel free to shift it somewhere else.
So, guys and gals, what is it about a person that ticks all the right boxes for you? What makes you, literally, think, "Oh, I would"?
Keisha's picture in the Member Picture Thread reminded me just how hawt female drummers are.  Also, I like a girl who likes to keep up her appearance but isn't obsessed with them. Shoulder-length or longer hair is good - the best look to me is either wavey or straight hair, not tied back or anything - just hanging down as it would. A nice wee fashion sense, a good grasp of grammar, plenty of hilarious banter and suchlike are a must.

Hmm...
Physically, I like a rubenesque, proportional, feminine figure. Nothing more beautiful or sexy than that. Oh, and hair at least the length of Garnet's after she cuts it. Don't care about eye colour.
I like a fair, rosy complexion. No fake tans or sunburn kthx. I also have an aversion to most make-up and body piercings. I like the natural look. Don't like the typical hair in a bun style either. A single ponytail is nice though.
Also, smart clothes are the way to go. And no, designer sports wear doesn't count.
For personal qualities, intelligence, confidence, and wit, are really valuable. Persistent low self-esteem just makes me feel like I'm preying on someone, and the depression is contagious. Some nervousness is cool though. Really like the nerdy look, just so long as it isn't combined with emo.
I'm not so sure about overly-balanced or overly-one sided personalities. Being too social would put me off big time, and being too anti-social would also be a deterrent.

Looks aren't important to me, because I know I'm not the best looking gal in the world, but I would like someone who likes me for who I am, and has a great sense of humour, and someone who makes life seem more interesting than it is. Looks is just a bonus to me.

A sense of humour similar to mine is a must, just somebody who can generally make me laugh and is fun to be around.
Err.. intelligence, doesn't have to be particularly profound, but good knowledge about things can be very impressive to me and very appealing in a guy. Aslong as he isn't up his own ass mind you, that really annoys me. >_> But if we can have decent conversations then that's great.
Oh and a good taste in music is also really appealing to me, it doesn't have to be the exact same as mine, but if it's varied and somewhat similar I find it rather interesting. Being able to play instruments is very very appealing also.
As far as looks go I don't really have preferences, but a dazzling smile can make me melt. >_>

Well I'll prolly be biased here because of my girlfriend, but I like a girl with medium-longer hair, shoulder length or longer.. blonde, brown eyed.. also I like ponytails 
Then again, I've dated girls who don't have that and I was happy with them.. I know I'm not amazing so I take what I can get.
I'm happy with my current girlfriend though n.n

Anyway, I like a man with dark hair, on the long scruffy side - but clean - oh and a bit of meat on his bones, I like something to grab hold of
Nice hands. I can be put right off by hands that aren't nice and clean and just generally sexy looking. Yeah Im weird.
Someone with a bit of dress sense aswel, Im sick of seeing the same old shirts/jeans or tracksuit combos
