New Posts Not SHowing Up (Continuing...)

This isn't a huge deal, but more of a question / concern.

When I make a new post in a thread it shows up, that's fine. But when I click "New Posts" on the navigation bar a few seconds later, that thread doesn't even appear at all.

It'll appear on the main index page where it lists the last 5 posts / threads area bar section thing though.

But yeah, I was just wondering.

That's just the way new posts are displayed on FFF.

It only shows threads with posts that you haven't read yet, so as you have obviously read your own post, it won't show up.

That's uhm...different.

So basically if I were to make a thread after this, I won't see it until someone posts in it and so on?

Yeh pretty much. Although only if you haven't read the posts. If someone posts in it and you read it then it won't appear again in the 'New Posts' part until someone else posts.

Oh okay. I guess it's just a new system or coding or something new.

Thanks for the help. Now i understand. I was just wondering why my name wasn'ts howing up. I thought I was in a different usergroup type thing (kind of like how I can't get in the RPG thing still (Yeah i know I need 59 posts or something like that - don't worry about it I'm cool with it) - I just thought it was like that.

So if you want to close this thread that's cool.

Yeah, that particular feature only shows unread threads. Pretty self-explanatory thereafter. Well, issue resolved so:
