A couple of quickies
Why does setting 'System' and 'Yellow' as my default font not work?
How do I get a caption beneath my name?

To get a caption beneath your name, just go to your User CP and click on Edit Profile. Under Custom User Title, write in whatever you want. =)
And I honestly don't know about the default font color. I tried using hex codes too (for this color, sandy brown)...but it doesn't seem to work. =/ So I just change the color after I'm done typing, then post.

The font and hex fields should both be working for you. You can either type the colour or enter the hex code, but make sure you have the # symbol before the code or it won't work. If it still doesn't work... PM LeeD or Belazor about the matter.
As for Usertitles, you might have to obtain X number of posts before you gain the ability to change it. If not, it's in the 'Profile' section of your UserCP.

Oi, well there we go...that's what I was missing all along...that damn # symbol. -.- It's working for me now. =) I used that Chit Chat thread as a test and didn't have to change the color manually at all. xD Writing "Sandy Brown" as a default didn't do a thing. Hex codes is the way to go.
