Manual v. Automatic
Transmissions preferences of course, in relation to cars.
I prefer automatic over manual because I find it tedious to shift. Though I'm pretty sure my cousin will influence me soon if he plans to sell me his stickshift Integra at a really low rate.
Automatic because it's easier and a bit more stress-free.

If you don't drive, don't post. Obviously you have no knowledge of the topic at hand, and therefore can't contribute to the discussion.
Anyway, I prefer Manual. I've only briefly driven with Automatic, and even though it was nice not to have to bother changing gears, it's not something that bothers me. And there's a nice satisfaction to be had rattling through the gears manually.

I would like to learn how to drive a manual car but everyone here drives automatic. I drive automatic because I live in American, hurray. So, if I ever go to Europe I can't rent a car. I hear driving manual lets you have a better feel of the car, and better for sport cars. Oh well, automatic is fine.
I can't learn how to drive manual anyways. The only two people that can teach me is my dad and my friend's mom. My dad doesn't want to take the time to teach me. My friend's mom would teach me but her husband drives a Audi. Barely anyone around here drives manual.

Manual definately!!! Automatics are generally more expensive, and you dont have full control of the car... I own the car, so if I want it in 2nd gear, I will put it in second....
I've driven an auto, my god they are boring to drive... with a manual, i feel Im in control of my OWN driving

Definitely manual. Automatic is just fine for your average daily driver. My truck is an automatic, and I deal with it. It'll be more expensive to fix or replace that tranny though than it had been in my 5.0 mustang. What I really miss is being able to drop it down a gear and put the pedal to the floor when a light turns yellow so I can blow past it before it turns red. Simply just accelerating that way with an automatic doesn't give you the same kind of torque that it will in a manual by dropping it down to the next lowest gear first.
