Gundam Seed- the RP

Okay, the story is going to begin with one of the new ORB colonies coming under attack from Zaft. The Archangel was launched to intercept as it has recently been brought back into service. My character shall be Piloting the Impulse, assigned to the Archangel, where you guys start i am unsure but it's your choice, you can be in the battle (launching from the Archangel if you want) The Eternal Hasn't launched yet as the colonies destruction isn't impending (yes, we are defending where the Eternal is)

The attacking force is two Nazca Class ships (Herchel and the Vesalius) one carrying 6 Ginns (Herchel) and the other carrying 4 Ginns, The Legend (piloted by a new Ace) and the Chaos (again with a new ace piloting it) (Vesalius)

"whats the targets?" Stephen asked pulling his helmet over his head and floating towards the Core splendor "at the moment 4 Ginns have been dispatched" announced the voice on the other side of the radio "okay, I'll be Launching first" Stephen announced as he jumped into the cockpit "Send out the Sword Silhouette" he announced as the Core Splendor headed to the Archangel's catapult.

After all the safety locks snapped into place Stephen dropped his Visor and smiled "Stephen Hownam, Core Splendor, Let's go" he announced as he pushed the boosters to full and launched the core splendor. Once air born it only took a couple of moments for the Core Splendor to connect with the rest of the flyers toform the Impulse Gundam and after the sword Silhouette connected on he was fighting ready He pulled one of the swords straight from his back and flew towards one of the Ginn's at high speed. he slashed the Ginn at the knee's and as he flew past he spun around pulling one of the beam boomerangs from his shoulder and threw it at the Ginn Removing It's head on the way past and it's right arm on the way back. the Impulse caught it as it returned and placed it back in position. Stephen then spun around and charged at the next enemy.

"Four Ginn's can't be all they sent, Archangel which ZAFT vessels are in the area?" Stephen announced down his Comm. A couple of moments later a voice came from his ear "the Herchel and..." she paused momentarily and then muttered "and...the...Vesalius" Stephen Gritted his Teeth "Dammit, that means the Chaos should be making an appearance" he announced "wait, Impulse" as the Conversation was happening the Sword Impulse was ducking and dodging the Ginn attacks and he cut another on down "two left, and whats wrong now?" Stephen announced.

"Picking up a new heat source" the voice announced "here comes the Cha..." "It's the ZGMF-X666S Legend" the voice interrupted Stephen spun around in the Impulse and muttered "great, just what i need" in a sarcastic tone as he cut down the last two Ginns that were launched by the Herchel. The Impulse looked as though it got prepared for the upcoming fight and Stephen gritted his Teeth "It has been joined by the remaining four Ginns and the Chaos" the voice came through on the speaker. Stephen gripped his Controls tighter and looked more focused "think you could Launch me some support?" he asked

Raven checked all of his systems while the initial attack started, "Red Mercury to Archangel, takeoff preparations complete." One of the Archangel's launch crew said "You are cleared for takeoff" Raven activated the Red Mercury's boosters and took off from the carrier. While over the target area, he noticed Stephen having some trouble against the 2 Gundams and 4 Ginn Units. "Yo Stephen, need backup?" Though the answer was self-explanatory, he went down there anyway, firing 40-mm bullets from his Pixie III Machine Gun towards the enemy.

Stephen in the Impulse ducked and dodged which became more difficult as the dragoon system was activated from the legend and they began firing at the Impulse. "Yo Stephen, need backup?" came through his Microphone "hell yes" he announced as the Impulse Sword threw one of it's beam boomerangs, beheading a Ginn, and returning to him.After clipping it back into place he spun around and got a shot through the sword in his right hand, he dropped it and it Exploded. "Dammit, Raven take out the Ginns and the Chaos, the Legend is mine" he announced as he drew the second sword only to have the same happen to that one "Dammit, Launch the Force Silhouette he announced to the Archangel"

"Gotcha" as Raven steered the Red Mercury towards the 4 Jinns, one tried to come up and hit the red gundam with beam saber, but missed completely, "Your too slow ZAFT" he came up and sliced the mobile suit's arm with his beam saber, then using his DRAGOON system, fired a Slug Gun at the suit's torso, destroying it. "And you'll never be able to keep up." He fired several bullets from the Machine Gun towards 2 more Jinns, critcally damaging it. Raven then fired several Slug Gun shots at the last Jinn, destorying it. "Now's it's just you and me Chaos. Archangel to Red Mercury, pick up my Machine Gun after the coast is clear. I'm gonna use my Handgun" Raven dropped the Machine Gun and picked up the Handgun from his core unit. "Ok, time to play"

the Impulse flew towards the Archangel, Dodging the shots from the Legend's Dragoon system, when it was close enough the Force Silhouette was launched and the Impulse swapped from the sword to the Force. The Impulse then made a complete turn around and began firing with it's Beam rifle. it then blasted forward at the Legend after placing the gun on his Hip and drawing out it's two beam Sabers.

As It blasted forwards the legend's Dragoon system got in it's way and began firing, Stephen was forced to stop his charge and switch back to the gun. Although trying to hit the DRAGOON spikes was harder than the battle data from Kira's Battles made it look "I will be as good as him...no I will be better" He announced as he switched back to the Sabers and charged again. Again the DRAGOON system got in his way but this time he continued Flying and cut two of them in half "LEGEND YOUR MINE" he shouted as the Impulse picked up Speed.

the Legend dodged out of the way of a beam Saber thrust and used it's own beam Saber to remove the left arm of the Impulse before flying off "Dammit" Stephen announced before continuing the chase but this time with the Beam gun instead of the Saber, firing as he flew at the Legend.

"Stephen Hownam, your Unit is Damaged return to the Archangel" the voice came down his Com And the Impulse stopped it's charge Stephen was panting heavily "I can't leave the Red Mercury out here alone" he announced as he continued Shooting at the Legend and It's DRAGOON spikes.

The Red Mercury Gundam fired several shots from his 30-mm Handgun, however Chaos Gundam dodged them with ease, "Damn, this guy's fast" Raven said. the enemy tried to slice his legs off with his beam saber, only for Raven to parry that attack, and shot his Booster pack with the Handgun damaging it and causing the Chaos Gundam to go out of control. "Well, that takes care one problem....for now at least" the Red Mercury turned his attention towards the damaged Impulse. "Our mission is complete, let's return to the Archangel."

as Stephen heard Raven's announcement he shook his head "No, the Legend is still working" he announced. he raised the gun and continued shooting at the Legend and it's DRAGOON spikes. only Moving as a shot came towards him "Dammit this guy is fast" he muttered. The Impulse rocketed into the Air to dodge one DRAGOON shot but it was a trap. Boom two shots from in front of the Impulse blew it's knee's off and One from the back sent him crashing into the ground of the colony. "fuck" Stephen announced as the Impulse rolled over ad launched back into the air, this time floating and Still shooting.

Meanwhile, Inside the Colony.
"Launch The Eternal" a voice announced "we can't, it only has one mobile Suit with a pilot" another replied "so Launch it, in here it's a sitting duck" the first ordered "Fine, prepare the Akatsuki for Launch as soon as we are clear. it seems the Impulse is in trouble" the captain of the Eternal announced. "Hold on son" the Captain then muttered.

Back outside.
The Impulse was only just holding it's own, nearly completely destroyed Stephen was on his last hope. he managed to shoot down one final DRAGOON spike before his gun was blown up. he removed a beam Saber from his back and charged at the Legend "your mine" he shouted. His head was destroyed by a beam from one of the Legend's remaining 4 DRAGOON spikes. Before they connected back on. The Nazca class ship, Vesalius Had entered Lohengrin range and had began firing on the Impulse. After the impulse and Stephen's attention was diverted the Impulse was shot in the booster pack by the Legend so it had to disconnect the Force pack and was left defense and boosterless. "FUCK!!!" Stephen exclaimed as he knew impending doom was coming. The Nasca class's Lohengrin Fired directly at the Impulse as the Legend grabbed the Chaos and helped it back towards the Vaselius.

BOOM!! as the Lohengrin round hit a target Stephen noticed how the heavily damaged Impulse wasn't vaporised and A Golden Mobile suit was floating in front of him "what the" a helmet popped up on one of his monitors and Stephen Smiled "Man am i glad to see you, what you doing in the Akatsuk..." Stephen paused a moment and looked down "who is going to be piloting the Strike Freedom?" he asked the pilot of the Akatsuki.

"Well Mr Hownam, If Captain Enix can clear it with your captain over at the Archangel, you will be" Stephen's face opened into a huge grin and he put his hands on his Helmet "what about Raven, he is my wingman" the pilot of the Golden mobile suit "you can still work with him, it's just that you will be a crewman of the Eternal instead of the Archangel, the ships will be staying together" Stephen Smiled "Okay Jake, I'll have a word with Demov of the Archangel" Stephen told the Golden suit's pilot "No need" he replied "she just informed Captain Enix that we can have you as long as she gets the Strike and a Pilot for it" Stephen cheered out of Joy "Hey Raven, you hear that I'll be on the Eternal if you need me" he announced through the com.

The Golden Mobile suit then grabbed the chest of the Impulse and Carried it back to the Eternal. The Eternal had pulled up next to the Archangel as the two Nazca class ships retreated.

OOC: A bit of a long one, but alot happened.

"Don't worry buddy, We still the best of the best!" Raven exclaimed. "Looks like the enemy is retreating. Let's bring our gundams back to the fleet. Hopefully, we can salvage the Impulse for some better weaponry and armor."

Stephen jumped out of the Impulse's heavily damaged cockpit. and floated through the hangar. He pulled off his helmet and looked around looking at the few Gundam's that were in there. Including the Infinite Justice, the Strike, the Akatsuki and at the end of the Hangar The Strike Freedom. Stephen kicked off the floor and floated up to the cockpit of the Freedom. he climbed in and sat down "this is amazing" he announced. He pulled his helmet and closed the Cockpit he pulled the Keyboard down and began typing.

5 minutes later
"neural links updated, systems online, phase shift armour fully active, checking over weapons." Stephen was typing rapidly "wow, an advanced Dragoon system and Xiphias 3 Rail cannons as expected" he announced and moments later he looked surprised "and Beam shield Generators didn't know about them" Stephen then looked forward and smiled "Captain Enix, may I launch?" Stephen announced.
