Balamb Garden

Balamb Garden. A place of prestige and pride; is known throughout the world.
From the outside, it seems like a futuristic fortress for an army. From the inside, it is nothing short of a palace. Tranquility, respect, pride; to name but a few of the feelings inside the walls of the Garden.
It's residents train relentlessley, waiting for that day they are needed for battle. Balamb Garden is dedicated to providing protection for the people who need them and it provides some of the best trained soldiers in the world. SeeD.
Balamb Garden, is home to many people. People have their own adventures to embark on and stories to tell; they never end.

Dorm's 1-20: Instructors
Include: Large bed, Colour TV, Laptop, Stereo, Fridge, Shower/Bath, Sofa, Balcony. More luxorious decor in general.

Dorm's 21-100: SeeD's (Can hold two people, or one, your option)
Include: Two normal size beds, Colour tv, radio, Shower, Armchair

Dorm's 101-150: SeeD candidates
Include: two small beds, Shower, chair, radio, armchair, small TV

Dorm description: This dorm room appears rather simplistic, yet it is still appealing to the eye. The walls are painted a pale shade of blue with a lighter shade splattered onto it. The wooden floorboards have a single rug draped over them, placed between the two beds. There were the necessities of course; a bed, a bedside table and lamp, a dresser, a desk, and shelves for each side. The furnishings were dressed and painted to match the room. If it wasn't for the main door, the door to the bathroom, and the windows, the room would appear as though there was a mirror for a wall: identical save for the belongings of its resident(s).

The Story So Far

On a cool breezy summer Sunday, the Garden remains still, without movement. The sun begins to rise as dawn breaks and the birds sing their glorious song. Inside the Garden rest it's residents: Instructors, SeeD's, Garden Masters, Candidates; all of them. The only noise to be heard within is the trickling of the brilliant fountain.

Soon enough, the time reached 7 a.m. as the cleaners began to sweep and the chefs began to cook. Another day at Balamb Garden had just begun...

the peaceful silence in dorm 107 was desturbed by the annoying beeping of Instructor Evan's alarm clock,
"seven o'clock already *sigh* feels like i only got to sleep an hour ago"
the instructor slowly rose to his Feet, turned on his Sterio, and walked throught to the bathroom for a shower and to brush his Teeth.
*20 mins pass*
walkin out of the bathroom, he slowly walked over and stood out on the balcony looking down on the peaceful balamb garden courtyard he pondered what the day would hold in store for him
"i must go to the training area sometime today" he thinks to himself

waking up late as usual Damon rose and had a rushed shower and dressed in a rather rough fashion and thought "I wonder if I will ever be able to get an alarm..."

Damon: ah well, may as well get some 'excercise'

Damon then headed for the training area to battle some grats

Fifteen minutes after a janitor passed the door to dorm 186, rock music blared from within the walls of that dorm. It took about five minutes, but it was soon turned down and its inhabitant was rushing around the room, quickly performing her usual routine and bustling about.

"Oh gawd, where is that uniform? It's still in the laundry, isn't it? Shit, I'm going to be late again!"

The young woman inside had ducked back into the bathroom to see if the laundry had already been taken out. Which, much to her dismay, had already occurred yesterday morning. The song ended and the radio announcer came back on, rather cheerful for this time of day.

"Good morning to you all! It's seven thirty-six and I hope you're enjoying this easy breezy Sunday morning. Today's weather is going to be seventy-two degrees and fair with light winds and low humidity-"
"It's a Sunday? Thank gawd," the woman sighed in relief, breathing much easier now. "...well, I'm up. I might as well go see what's for breakfast," she said to herself as she turned off the radio alarm.

Luana Nightingale walked out of her dorm room with a simple cloth pack slung over one shoulder and her halberd resting on the other. It looked like several other students were already up and hoping to be the first ones in line for breakfast. Luana wasn't in much of a hurry. She walked at a casual pace with a hand in her pocket and whistling the rock song that was stuck in her head.

Once she reached the cafeteria, she found the line fairly long already. Luana may have been hungry, but she certainly wasn't hungry enough to stand in line for as long as the other students were. She just gave a shrug and headed over to one of the tables near the middle of the cafeteria. Her halberd leaned into one of the chairs and her pack as slung onto the back of another chair. Luana reached into one of the pouches and pulled out a slender pack of cards, sitting down in the chair and sorting them out. They looked like Triple Triad cards. As she waited for the line to thin, Luana just sat there and sorted through her cards, picking out her favorite five to use in a game.

*puts on a pair of jeans and a plain white T-shirt*
Walking to the elevator he is intercepted by one of his new students.

Student:"instructor can i talk to you please"

Evan:"make it quick, i'm kinda in a hurry"

Student:"oh okay then. i have my Seed Exam cumming up and i dont think i am strong enougt to pass it could u possibly take me to the training area and help me train against some grats or maybe even a t-rexaur. please."
looking at the Student Instructor Evan laffed

Evan"im sorry but i dont have time to babysit im to busy today with my own agenda's"

Student:"okay then sir thanks anyway"

getting off the elavator he walks towards the cafateria but is interupted when he is challenged to a game of Triple triad by one of the Seed members, using a combination of his Cerberus, carbuncle, Diablo, Doomtrain and instructor Evan cards he makes easy work of the student and is happy to take possetion of the mog card the student used

student who lost:"damn your an amazing player sir"

Evan:"thank you, so will you be if you train enought"

JIMMY

Jimmy heard the voice in the headphones and quickly got up...

Jimmy:"Ahhh a brand new day with brand new possibilities!!!!! Yo Enigma get the hell up!!!!!"

Jimmy did some push ups and then went to the bathroom and started posing in front of the mirror as usual.

Starting with the front line he started walking through hacking all the grats along the way when a T-rexaur came along

Damon: oh shit.....ah well, this could be fun!

*T-rexaur charges at Damon*

Damon: ha! think your good eh?

Damon charges with his blades and cuts the legs off the T-rexaur

Damon: now die!

Damon cuts off the T-rexaur's head

Damon: oh I am violent haha!

Damon then gets stopped by an instructor

Instructor: you are late for your SEED instructions!

Damon: what? they have a mission now? bout damn time!

Instructor: silence! if you have complaints tell your corresponding instructor!

Damon: whatever.....

Damon then proceeds to the second floor and proceeds to class

Damon: sorry I am late!

Everyone glares as Damon enters and takes his seat

Instructor: as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, your mission is simple, you have the job of clearing up after the winhill defenses, and for our late arrival, the winhill inhabitants have been badly damaged by monster attacks and we have been asked to take out any and all monsters in the surrounding area, is that clear?

Class: sir!

Instructor: well, you have an hour to get changed into your school uniform and be assembled at the front gate

Rudely awoken from his deep sleep, Enigma glared at Jimmy. Being awake for the duration of 10 seconds meant that he couldn't focus on Jimmy enough to throw something at him.

"God dammit, dude. It's...."
*Checks watch*
"7.30! 7.30 in the morning! 7.30, in the morning; on a Sunday!"

With an almighty sigh, Enigma rolled out of bed and onto the surprisingly warm dormitory floor. A quick spray of deoderant left the air misty, but kept him fresh.

"Hurry up in there Jimmy, I need a wash."
"Hmph, fat chance." Enigma thought to himself.

Jimmy was constantly in the bathroom, checking himself out. Making sure he looked as good as he felt. For some reason, today, Enigma's tolerance was running low.

"Dude, forget it! I'll see you in the cafeteria for breakfast"

Slamming the door unintentionally on his way out, Enigma set course for the cafeteria which was no doubt buzzing by now; even at 7.40 in the morning those famous hotdogs could attract a crowd.
His footsteps echoed around the glorious halls of Balamb Garden, bouncing off the walls and dissapearing into the air. This place was luxury.
The faint aroma of warm bread filled Enigma's lungs as he neared the cafeteria; his stomach grumbled.

"Easy boy! We're almost there!"

Enigma's pace slowed up significantly to reach his supply of food, but just as predicted; the crowds had already formed. Even Luana and Evan were there. Neither of them were renound for their ability to walk before the hours of 9, yet today was an exception; strange.
Enigma cooly waved in Luana's direction. No luck. Those Triple Triad cards had her mesmerized. Bless.

Luana caught the wave from the corner of her eye and gave a small smile. Barely moving her head, she scanned the line to see who had given her the greeting gesture and spotted a brown-haired young man in fitted, black clothes. And what a cute butt he had! It must've been that Enigma person who frequents the cafeteria.

She turned her head towards him, flipping her brown locks out of her face and resting her creamy-blue eyes upon him. Her rosy, gloss-covered lips touched the tips of her fingers, blowing a kiss towards him. With a coy smile and an elbow up on her Caterchipillar card, she rested her chin on the back of her fingers, raising her brow suggestively for a few moments before going back to sorting her cards.

Flirtatious? Of course! There was a gaggle of girls further ahead of Enigma who spotted Luana, giggling and whispering just how much of a tease Luana is. Not that she minded, of course. She knew it was true.
