As Al left the cafeteria, he looked to the ceiling of the garden.
"I wonder what today will hold" he somewhat mutters to himself.

as he started walking, he heard from behind.

"umm.. aren't you Al'umar?"
he turns to see a girl, looking to be around 20 or so.
"yes. I am."
"whant to play some cards?" she says while showing 3 cards.
"heh.. id rather not, I guess yuo know that I suck rather bad in Triple Triad" He replies as he scratches his head.
"I know. thats why I whant to play you."
"Sorry, girl.. I kinda lost all my cards to someone other"
"who?" she asks bluntly.
"umm.. Id rather not say" Al said looking rather embarrassed.
"comon. pleeeease" she was getting rather annoying. but in the typical cute way that only girls that age can do.
"*sigh* It was to howl." He mutters
"umm.. isnt howl...... your..."
Al just nods.
"HAHAHAH... oh.... sorry.." She started laughing. but stopped as Al looked eaven more embarrest.
"heh... its ok.. I get that alot" he smiles. as he starts to go towards teh elevator.
"umm... Al'umar"
"call me Al."
"umm. Al.. can you.."
Al stopped..
"yes. Ill talk to Howl. and see if I can arrange a card game" he replies just as he turns with a smile.
"thank you." She bows in gratitude. "Im Lucy, by the way"
"Lucy... till next time" as Al started to walk away.

"hmm.. she was rather cute, though, I got sorta of a bad first impression. ah well. Im lucky im not as bad fighting, as I am with cards" Al thinks to himself, we he click the "call" button for the elevator.

JIMMY:

As Jimmy runned away from the cafeteria he heard someone call his name...

Zell:"JIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!"

Jimmy turned around to see none other than his Instructor Zell.

Jimmy:"Hey Sir? What's up?"

Zell:"Nothing really...i just felt like screaming your name!"

Jimmy:"Ahh really?"

Zell:"Of course not man!!!! I just wanted to remind you that next friday you and i will go beat up some Iron Giants!!!"

Jimmy:"I never faced one before it will be cool...i bet i can take more of them out than you!!!!"

Zell:"Yeah i would like to see that happen oh and don't forget that Instructor Xu will also come and bring some other students so i don't want my favourite pupil to look bad!!!"

Jimmy:"....M...Miss Xu is going too??? OH MY GOD THEN I BETTER GO TRAIN I DON'T WANT TO CAUSE A BAD IMPRESSION!!!!!"

Jimmy was screaming and half of the people in the hallway heard him...

Zell:"Right...man you need to calm down those hormones you're even louder than i am!!! Well smell ya later!!!"

Jimmy kept running because to him there was nobody else sexier and more powerfull than Instructor Xu she was already over 20 years old but Jimmy still idolized her.

AND I take it we all know eatchotehr. well.. at least to the level where we have HEARD of eatchother.

As the elevator came, Al was just about to enter. as he heard coming from the hallway.

" OH MY GOD THEN I BETTER GO TRAIN I DON'T WANT TO CAUSE A BAD IMPRESSION!!!!!"

Al turned around.
"oh.. him again" Al had heard of this person. one of Zell's students. teh rumor goring, states that he is rather fond of Instructor Xu. though. Al didnt blame him. she wasn't a bad sight.

"well. I guess Ill go get Howl. she has been out long enough to find some food now." Al says as he enteres teh elevator. and hits the button for 'ground lvl'

Damon headed for the library to get some info before he had to be at the gate after a while Damon checked his watch

Damon: Whoa! I am going to be late!

Damon ran through to the gate and almost ran through the security gates

Security: hey! calm down!

Damon: open the gates!

The security guard opened the gates and Damon ran for the gate and was greeted by a group of 5 other students

JIMMY:

Jimmy was feeling really happy he was so happy that he started doing pull ups in the middle of the hall...

Jimmy:"COOL INSTRUCTOR XU WILL BE AMAZED AFTER I TRASH ALL OF THOSE IRON GIANTS YEAH SHE WILL BE PROUD!!!!!!!"

Jimmy was once again talking too loud and member of the Trippie group appeared...

Trippie 2:"Yo kid lower your voice tone a bit!!! Anyway everyone knows that Instructor Quistis is much better...ohhh lovely Quistis were are you now..."

Jimmy got up...and stared at the Trippie member he was older and taller than Jimmy.

Jimmy:"Right...well at least i don't walk around like a retard using a t-shirt with Instructor Trippe name on it."

Trippie 2:"You punk what did you say!? This is a club member t-shirt you wish you had one darn it kid i should teach you a lesson!"

Jimmy:"I'm not afraid a 6 foot 2 dumbass monkey like you!!!"

Trippie 2:"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!!!! You punk i would kick your ass right here if there were not any Instructors around but i will get you for saying that to me!!!"

Jimmy:"Well why not in the Training area?"

Trippie 2:"You actually wanna fight me!? Pshh fine then meet you there in the afternoon and if i were you i would bring all the backup i could find!!!!"

Jimmy:"Just bring it man...i will be there."

Jimmy walks away with a smile on his face while the Trippie member looks really pissed off...

Just as the doors closes, Al overheard if the battle.

"*sigh* yet another battle.. I wish these people could take it in a way that doesnt involve fighting" Al mumbled to himself.

The elevator gets to the lowest floor.
*DiNgg*
Al walks out, down the stairs, and towards the exit.

"Ah, sunday... a day off.. Perhaps ill go to Balamb, get myself a burger or something" He thought to himself, as he passed the main gate.

As he got outside, he started walking towards Balamb.

An instructor who Damon rarely saw (he does not usually see them, today is a one off) approached and after all 6 of the students lined up she began to speak

Instructor: This exam is to weed out the week and take ut the strong, this exam will determine who will be joining SEED and who will remain a mere student, when you are a SEED you will gain a salary and will serve the garden and help any who are in peril, for the right price of course

Students: *laughing*

Instructor: well, now we must wait on the late arrivals

Luana gave a titter and placed the cards back in their case, slipping that into her pocket. She watched her flirting buddy jog off with a sigh. She had to admit; with someone as silly as he was at times, he certainly had a cute and fit butt.

With her pack slung over her shoulder again, Luana stood and picked up her halberd, walking over to the counter. She leaned on the counter a bit as she looked at the closest lunch lady.

"So what's left?" she asked, her fingers tracing along the cracks of the tiled counter.
"Well, there's still some pumpkin porridge left," the lunch lady beamed.
"...eh...I was thinking more of something to go," Luana replied, trying not to give a nervous chuckle. In all reality, she was afraid to try anything porridge-related from this cafeteria.
The lunch lady gave a bit of a frown. "Oh...well, there's still some breakfast burritos. Everyone seems to overlook those. Eggs, cheese, bacon, and ham all rolled up in a tortilla."
"Sounds good. I'll just have one."

Given a couple moments, the burrito was wrapped in a napkin and handed over to the hungry student. With a nod in thanks, Luana turned and took a large bite out of the portable meal. What a mistake that was; it was still hot! The student began to walk out of the cafeteria, now with a burned tongue and a likewise throat.

"Daaaamn, that's hot," she whined to no one. "Guess I was hungrier than I thought."

Her legs seemed to travel on their own as she was munching on her breakfast. Once she was finished eating, Luana dabbed her lips with the napkin and looked up at the double-doors leading to the training grounds. As much as she loved being in here, the monsters were an annoyance when one is just looking for peace and quiet.

"Might as well," she mumbled to herself, pushing the doors open and striding in. She could use a little more practice with her halberd.

As Al was walking he was re-united with Howl.

"Squeek"
"yo.. I take it you got your breakfast?"
she just gave off a nod.
"well. I didnt, so im off to get something in balamb."
"Sqek?"
"heh.. the cafeteria only had some Pumpkin porrage or something. it has to be hazardous for your health, when no one other wants to eat it."
Howl seemed to understand, after all. she has tasted the various foods in the cafeteria as well. allthough the personell in there, odnt like Al taking in 'animals'. Hawk is not mere animal.

*sigh* I guess it all depends on the eyes taht are watching.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... eyh" Al sais to himself. as howl landed in his right sholder.

As 'they' where walking a little more. they could hear from bedind.

"aaaaaalluuuumaaar"
"huh?" he turned, onli to see someone in the distance, it seemed to be a girl, but it was hard to make it out because of the distance.
Al started walking towards this... running girl.

As he got closer, he noticed, it was her. Lucy.

"Al.. *phant... Phant*... you..."
"relax.. catch your breath, then we take it from there"

2 minutes later

"Here. I am to give you this." she sais as she hands over a letter.
Al openes it

"Al'umar Loren.
You are hereby summoned to the Headmaster of Balamb Garden.
Upon your arrival, you will be briefed of a mission, and are able to choose to take it, or not.
This same message has been sent out to all the SeeD's. They will be given the same choice as you.
Meeting will be at 12:00.
