What do you think about attracitve people?

What do you think about attractive people? Besides the obvious .

I think that in a lot of cases they have a harder time with relationships,

A. They are some sort of ass hole , or so people believe

B. Others believe that standards are set too high for that person

They think that the person who is attractive gives a damn about being that way. That standards are too high and that if the person does not speak with him or her that that person is concietted and superficial and not just a millionth of another possibilities. Automatically , and magically people like that seem to get bad vibes or become distant from others quickly.

OF course attractive is opinionated but some people have a majority view of being attractive over others observed.

It is almost as if some people can not take attractive guys, girls seriously because they feel like they live in a flaky, superficial world of some sort.

Anyone feel me here or is this another one of my insane rants?

You need to stop making threads, imo.

This is a pointless thread because there is no universally attractive person that everyone can agree upon. Everyone has different ideas and concepts of beauty.

Also, stereotyping on people's appearances is always good. Because everyone knows that all attractive people act the same.

I believe that the concept of "beauty" depends on culture and perspective. Sure, beauty gives better chances of success in this superficial world, but it also shows how false this world can be. The fact that humanity wishes to obtain perfection so eagerly shows how "attractive" people are sometimes shown favoritism. Worst of all, sometimes people treat you because of how you look, not because of who or what you are inside, something I also consider quite hypocritical. All of this had made me quite reluctant to trust people and judge them mainly on their physical appearance, so I tend to carefully analyze their behavior to see if these girls aren't just pretty faces.

This world makes me awfully sick, and the whole stereotype of beauty equals lack of intelligence it one of the many things on this package that annoys me deeply. Friends are just with you because you are "attractive", making you the center of attention. I know this because I've seen it, and because I would rather spend my time doing something productive rather than losing it in futile things such as the one stated previously. Good thing I know how to judge friends based on their qualities, not on how they look.

A hot guy or girl is a hot guy or girl period. If noticed it exists.

Some people are ugly and some are fugly and some are naturally attractive. Why? They did a test once with infants.

They gave them to attractive mothers and they smiled, to uglier ones and they cried....A real test.

It is true , symmetry , it is more pleasing to the eye. There for it is more calming.
More on my opinionated side , which I do not support as my own logic but believe some people hold true to it.

Some people have a cookie cutter beauty queen image of what is attractive. They separate attractive from sensitive and "touching" and leave it to sexual and pleasing to the eye. People like this seem to get hostile , and upset a tad even when its not wanted. They judge those so called attractive people without knowing them because in their minds what is attractive is considered a pretty face and or body .

Not always the case but another example. They know its superficial but they want whats best or good in life, they dont realize that their so called attractive people are not some sort of character playing a romance part , but are just human beings that wont forfill their fantasys .True love is not there.

Seriously. You can't be for real. There's no such thing as someone who is universally attractive. If you hadn't noticed, people have different tastes and opinions. In some cultures being dark is beautiful just like in other cultures, being pale is beautiful. Thus...it is impossible to say someone is completely attractive, because it's arbitrary and objective.

And that sounds like a REAL scientific test. Srsly.

Sure it does the study of animal behavior is called psychology . Why they believe someone looks beautiful is called aesthetic symmetry .

I still disagree, the majority of people in this world realize that angelena jolie, jeniffer aniston and george clooney are attractive...sorry m8.

Nothing is absolute no, but there definitely is a probability and likelihood . So you dont think a star is hot but 70-80 percent people do....even if you dont you know what most people think.

But isn't that just opinions? I don't think George Clooney is attractive at all. And that's my opinion. My friends might do, but again, that's personal opinions again

We all have different tastes and views on what we find attractive, some people like their guys lean, others beefy etc.....

I don't even know if I'm sticking to the topic (again) because it's late and I don't quite understand it (again)

Yes, but in fact you would said that he is thought of and viewed as an attractive man. And being in magazines as"sexiest man of year" Logically he is considered a attractive man by majority view.

If some one were to ask you if he was attractive you might say that he isnt but that does not change the fact that alot of people, most people think that he is.

Just like this Jonny Depp guy.

I'm sorry, but I just don't think of psychology as a science. It's still mostly observations and guess work right now.

And you see nothing scientifically flawed with that experiment? Nothing at all? ....Right.

I personally don't find Jennifer Aniston or George Clooney too attractive

I have some friends who think Angelina Jolie looks like a frog. Even with celebrities, not everyone agrees who is attractive. Just peek into the hot women or hot men threads. Those are all celebrities (for the most part), and there's lots of disagreement.

But let's just pretend we live in fantasy land for a minute, and we can pick out people who are universally attractive. That doesn't mean that they're all the same. Who someone is doesn't correlate with what they look like. I've met lots of people I consider physically attractive who were very down to earth and nice. Then I've also met people I find physically unattractive who had ugly personalities. And vice versa. Or would you like to continue stereotyping?
