Of course there were no holograms in the day of Galileo as they require ELECTRICITY. which is something discovered and harnessed in the 19th century.

The moon exists.

i fail to see how anyone could belive the opposite. But then again each to their own i suppose.......

but you shouldnt beleive ANY of the conspiriacy theries you here - next youll end up telling me that the Titanic was sunk by aliens or such other rubbish o_0

According to Occam's Razor, it's better to go with the idea that the moon exists than some lunatic idea by the government to make a hologram of the moon appear in the sky or use of some other bizzarre technology (which, by the way, has never been found to exist) to make it seem like there is a moon.

See finally someone that is smart like u said how do u guys know that this planet is not the actuall moon u can't prove that unless u actually know about this stuff.

Yeah well it shows in a way how we should deal with certain proofs for something and inquire it for our self but thats all it does since there really isnt any good "proof" that the moon does not exist his logic being that "I dont have to prove the moon does not exist you have to prove the moon does exist" which is faulty logic and using that logic you can say China does not exist and all the images and things we see are Holywood made and all the ppl claiming to be in china or have visited it are goverment paid ! prove to me thats not right!

Do you have any real prove that the moon does not exist? answer me what real evidence you can give that the moon does not exist? eh? why would anyone want to create such an stupid conspiracy, what could any goverment gain with that eh?

You probabl are of those people that believes that that the 9/11 attacks were planned by the US themselves, for God knows what reason, or that there are little green aliens kidnaping people at night.

People would have no problem with this thread if you would have post it in another section, (like the spam coliseum) but since you posted it here, where we are expecting serious topics to devate, and then we see something that sounds so (and excuse the wording) plain stupid, people are going to laugh and call you names probably, I wouldn't post something that I know sounds like that

The moon is clearly just a figment of everyone's imagination. So much that people were even able to imagine themselves landing on it.

look, i see no real incentive for governments to create a halogram of the moon to show to people.

what about the solar and lunar eclipse. that means when there is a solar eclipse, the governments find a way to block the sun out for a little while, if they created the moon, then they could easily fake a luner eclipse but not a solar eclipse. why would any government spend time and money to do this. plus, if the moon isn't real, what about the tides, i guess that is a conspiracy too.

you could change the definition of anything. i could call what we call the moon, k_unit's planet or mars or whatever, i could define it as whatever i want to, which is what you were saying about 'what if the earth was the moon and the moon the earth' or something like that. i could define it as anything i wanted to.
