Forest Battle...Anyone can join

OOC: I wanted to have a battle in a forest setting. Anyone want to join in?

If you're going to start a battle, you should describe the actual setting. Yeah, a forest seems rather self-explanatory, but it really isn't. You should describe landmarks, tree types, and just the all-around area.

Also, the instigator of the battle should make the first post

I recommend describing yourself and the surroundings from your character's point of view.

OOC:This is it.

IC: Hanakura was sitting on a stump within the large forest. It was dark and the atmosphere gave off an almost gloomy impression. The darkness was not complete darkness though, and small fireflies flew through the forest creating small trails of piercing light. The trees seemed alive...almost. The different wrinkles within the trees gave the illusion that the trees had faces. They weren't happy faces either, but some were faces of despair, others of anger, and the rest of fear. The forest Hanakura was in seemed vast and mysterious and appeared as though it could stretch on forever. Few growls could be heard in the far distance but they didn't sound much like growls of ferocity. Instead, they sounded like a growl that could be explained as: A warning from an unknown threat.

Hanakura was shy but she wasn't scared and looked around the barely lit forest in order to determine what was nearby. Besides the growl, she heard nothing out of the ordinary. She continued to sit on a stump and drank a liquid that she had with her. The liquid was orange. She drank it and it didn't seem to have a bitter taste to it. Who knows what the liquid was. Apparently, Hanakura was relaxing after a long trip. She pulled her foot out of a tangled group of vines and sighed.

"What a long day this is."

OOC: Ill be using my newly made Fradj Von Calen.

Lying in the grass slowly but surely slivering towards his prey through the tall grass Fradj made his way closer and closer to the unsuspecting bird preening its feathers sitting on one of his traps. Fradj was almost at his preys side when an arrow shot from nowhere, just as Fradj recovered from the shock another one grazed his shoulder and stuck into the nearby tree, Fradj didnt know where the arrows where coming from but he didnt want to find out for he had a severly injured knee and couldnt move the way he would normally.
But when the arrows kept on coming and missing Fradj had had enough so he summoned all his might and a huge jet of flame shout from his staff and scorched the surrounding trees hoping the unknown archer would show himself. After a long wait no more arrows where let loose so Fradj decided to move on through the forest after about half an hour he heard "What a long day this is." being spoken from within a clearing in the trees, Fradj decided to take a look from above to see who was there saw one lone woman sitting on a stump, Fradj decided he would have some fun with this little lady beneath him so he shouted "To right love, it has been a long day and with that he threw down at her feet a spear he had crafted from one of the arrows and his staff, Fradj hid further into the canopy of the trees and watched...

You should wait

Technically, his post is invalid, since he did not submit an approved character. As a result, replying to that would simply be replying to nothing.

RPBs are a lot more complex than most people first think, eh
