Monk - Page 5

I used monk for most of the game mainly because of the Hamedo skill. Just the ability to kill somebody before they hit you when they attack you first... COME ON.. I thought it was cheap but I don't care I used it

Lol, i never quite used that skill cos' ultimately it failed to work more often than not.
I only used the Monk's Counter, but nothing else of it.
I'd prefer to use a Knight (Or in WotL's case, a Dark Knight) and take some other skills. Attack Boost, Move+3, Counter, Items...

Hamedo never fails, you will hit the enemy before they hit you every time unless they have a ranged attack.

The JP it requires really is a bomb in its own right. 1000 over.

Monks are the strongest Job in the game! I love the wave fist and chakra.the most helpful skills come from that job!Counter,Hamedo,and The best Skill is Hp restore! Knights are great but monks are better! I also hated monk type jobs but in this game their powerhouses!

*Yesh i totally agree, the monk job is the strongest...for the normal characters but not for the entire game, theres the holy knight from Agrias and Cid too

*but i must say that having a Monk class for your character isnt enough, you need to pump him u first before he becomes the lord of destruction, for me i use the "accelerate" skill first that way his physical attack and monk skills are more effective. hit is 999 damage, chakra regen is doubled or even tripled
