i guess white mage slipped my mind

but white mages dont have strong attacks ang dont regenerate their mp

*well i dont charge my Monk into battle,thatd get him killed easily by gang bang monsters.what i do is use their long range skills like wave first or earth slash,then finish em off with strong punches

its an effective strategy

Well, If you have a white mage for long enough, it will get an attack called "Holy" which is quite powerful. And Monks dont regenerate there mp either. Unless you use Charka.

I do love the skill charka. For me atm its like using a Hi-Potion + alittle extra (cause it gives mp). I have Balthier having his second skill as a Monk because of that. But i think that the Chemist ability might be better seeing as once i learn X-Potion and Elixer, it'll be easier to heal.

*Yep,thats a good combination.well you could do the same to all spell casting job classes.and i dont use the chamist ability that much as items get consumed. CHakra is infinite HAHAH

and lets not forget his Revive skill what a bargain eh!?

*also the monk class is versitile,he can be a long ranged fighter and a melee basher! what a combination!

i think hes a tank and a supply depo all in one

Ya i suppose it aint to be but then again when i use item skills, i tend to get 99 of them. It costs money but hey you get 150 hp using X-Potion. So if im in huge trouble i can just use it. I might consider getting a monk again. But i think that Dark Knights just pwn too much.

*the chemist ability is really handy the down side is their potency is limited and they can run out

I always laugh when Ramza manages to use HP Restore during a hard battle. It's nerve wracking 'cause sometimes it doesn't work, but when it does *grin*

There's one move that a Monk does that's basically lesser-grade Esuna, but it cures Blood or something; when you battle against Zalbag his vampire bite or something really gets you.

The monk skill is called "Purification" and Elmdor uses vampire bite too, which sucks cause i wanted to steal his armour >=(

All in all monks are quite useful i must say, They dont require Mp to heal and they are physical, unlike White Mages.

*hmm hp restore sucks,actually i dont let the enemy hit me that much,i wont depend on such skills that may or may not work when the crucial momments count

why would you let the enemy pound you into a critical hp state when you can avoid enemiy attacks in the first place

ever tried a 999 damage for the monk punch? pretty amazing

999 damage is pretty much the norm for upper-level monks. >.>
Any monk can do it if he has a high level.
