Well, which is why i said lotsa planning. Got to ensure that the mime is placed in the right place... See whose turn is next... Plan like a maniac.
The calculator's a tad harder to use, but rock once you get the hang of it i guess. Really put some mathematical understanding to the test...

You can't equip things on him and all he does is Copy.
If someone is equipped with a gun and fires Up 3 Spots.
The Mime will immediately fire a gun up 3 spots no matter who is standing there(Nobody, Ally, Enemy).
The same thing with all other Ranged attacks.
He can't attack on his own because all he can do is Punch.
You can't equip other abilities or Job Skills on him.
All he does is move and attack your Allies or an Empty Spot!!
Screw you Mime.
Look at Him/Her.
They even Look Stupid!

*haha yey your funny well i agree, its sad cause youd expect for the ultimate job to be something more reliable right!?
*you go all the trouble of completing the jobs and all you get is a copying clown!
*but maybe it has a good side too, maybe you can use him just for fun!

I think the mime really is crap! The Copy tech sucks!the job can't equip! No abillites! Why would u use this job when you could use other strong jobs! I'd much rather use Calculator the most unique job!

Mimes are also good because they make the Bard & Dancer class more worthwhile by giving you an immediate extra turn to buff & debuff (respectively).

*nah! why would you use a bard or dancer anyway, i mean theyre one of the weakest jobs.no point in using a mime just to power up weak jobs

Move +3 is worth at least one of those jobs...And they aren't really meant to be "strong" jobs...Bards are always buffers in RPGs...It's just something to use. Sing/Dance can actually be a good secondary ability (especially to someone quicker, say, NINJA!?! Hmm...a Ninja Singing...I haven't actually seen that...I wonder how that looks...lol)...I mean, it's basically someone buffing you rather quickly while your other characters go take care of buisiness (cause, like Calculators, moving Bards/Dancers is pointless besides escaping if a monster leaks through your defenses, I guess).

*well yep, that might work... if your just havin fun which is the point of playing a game, right! but i think its really a waste to have a bard, dancer and a mime.
*id say they do have good abilities to acquire from but in battle theyll only be a liability.
*my tactic doesnt involve too much buffing, its quick monster killing and
getting no casualties as much as possible.

Well, I'd never have a Bard AND a Dancer on the field at the same time...but one of them & a Mime might do since your Mime could still go around mimicing w/e else your party was doing and still giving you the Sing/Dance boosts whenever they were activated. And most of the time by the time I get a Bard, Dancer or Mime, I can coast through with just the 3 other party members anyways, so they ARE just there for fun, really.

I think the Mime is well worth it.. Not only does a female mime look like a cat, they are actually very useful, if you use them wisely. Yeah, it takes some getting used to, but not a lot realy. If with every move you make with each character you think about your mime, you should be fine. Two go's for each move isn't worthless. It IS amazing, IMO, and my mime is always in my party.

I suppose it's one of those deals where you have to learn how to use a Mime, IF you choose to use it, and it doesn't sound like it has too many fans. I'd imagine that a Calculator/Mime combo would be an easy win, with a bit of preparation.
