Hardest Battle(s)
You've read the title, now tell the world what kinda battles you struggle through in Tactics.
For me, it was any Wiegraf, Gafgarion, Lucavi and Shrine Knight battle. (I hated Balk for the poison) As for the non-bosses, I'd say anything involving Red/Black chocobos. To this day, I only find difficulty with red/black chocobos.
I've said my bit, now go ahead and tell your stories.

OMFG!!!!....Gafgarion!!....i hated that asshole!!! that battle when your on the wall and Ramza is isolated.....took me FOREVER to beat that battle....the moment i killed Gafgarion's dark knight ass...i will never feel such a sense of satisfaction
Wigref also gave me some troubles. he took me a few tries but it was not anything that made me want to snap the game in half stomp on it and condem it to hell however that fucker Gafgarion...i wanted to do all that with addition of relieving my self on it

The one-on-one battle with Wiegraf can utterly destroy you if you're unprepared...and if you saved prior to entering the battle, it can similarly utterly destroy your current game...
I also thought the crazy-assed random Chocobo battles on Barius Hill could be a pain in the butt. I think once I came across 1 Red, 2 Black, & like 3 or 4 Yellows...not fun working through that crap.

Without any doubt, at the moment the most hardest battle I'm having is Nevalska (sp?) temple. It's not hard to trounce Construct 7, but it's really REALLY hard if you're trying to get the extra equipment hidden here and there. Even worse is when Construct 7 can cause 200 to 300 damage in one shot, and you have to make sure he stays alive while you're hunting for the goods. Add in the Cockatrice with their pectrifying beaks and their ability to dish out damage both far range and close range (one time, one of those darn birds hit my Rapha with a Talon dive, and did up to 506 DAMAGE!!!), as well as those Hydras who can damage up to three of your characters at one shot and causing 200 damage ++ to boot, it's and uphill battle, and one that I've been doing many MANY times! The worse thing that can happen is when you finally manage to get to the spot with the treasure, and to realise that no, you did not get Javelin 2, you got Javelin 1, and then you have to replay AGAIN...
It's never-ending torture, I tell ya, never-ending torture...

Ugh, yeah, all I managed to get was the Escutcheon II (And, thankfully, all I intended to get) and it was too hard dodging Worker 7. If only he didn't have any long-range attacks, it would be possible to loot the ruins without massive preparation.

Can anyone of you guys give me tips on defeating Belias in Tactics when you are in the church? i can't seem to get passed him, and it is a little upsetting, actually quite upsetting. Idk what to do, my characters are the minimum level for them to access the level, which sucks i know, but i theoretically should be able to beat it. Tips?

Pretty much the entirety of Tactics is a lot less about your characters' levels (though they're important as well), but more about your ability sets...Like if you're too early to get a spear to equip to a Dragoon, give 'em Equip Sword or something (this is very minor)...it's all about strategies.

The hardest battle in the game for me was Wiegraf. One on one against him when I first started was for me, impossible. He kept hitting me with lightning stab, and when I went to hit him, I would miss, he would counter, hit, lightning stab, game over. It took me forever to kill him, I literally stopped playing for 6 months because of it. I finally restarted, looked up job requirements, etc. Turned into a knight with Two Swords and Those speed boots, ran up to him and Got him in one strike. That..made me madder then ever, I was jumping up and down and then, Lucavi! WWWWWWWHHHHHAAAT THEEEEEEEEEEEE FFFFFUUUUUUUUU................ Luckily, he didn't give me a problem. However...
Elmdor sure as hell did. He slaughtered rafa almost every time, well, not him, the assassins, I managed to do it after about 12 hours of solid trying.
