Difference between FFT and FFT War of the Lions?
Can anyone explain what the main differences are between these two game? I've only played FFT for the PSI (and absolutely loved it, and being my first FF game it'll always hold a special place in my heart ^^), but from what I understand, War of the Lions is the same story and characters from FFT, but it's just for the PSP.
So, I can understand there's a difference gameplay wise any maybe graphics too, but is there anything extra or different in WotL that I wouldn't know just by playing FFT?
So yeah, I'm basically asking for you guys to spoil anything about WotL for me

Well, there are a couple of things...
1. The dialogue and language used is more medieval than in the PS1. It adds authencity to the game, however some of the character's name's spelling has been altered.
2. In WoTL, you can not only get Cloud, but also Luso from FFTA2 and Balthier from FF12 to join your party.
3. There are three extra side quests you can do. One of them involves Agrias and Mustadio, another involves Beowulf and Reis, and the last one has to do with Lavian, Alicia, and Agrias.
4. Two new jobs, the Dark Knight and the Onion Knight. The Dark Knight is not to be confused with the Dark Knight from the PS1 version. That Dark Knight is now called the Fell Knight. The Dark Knight, IMO, is a very fun class, and once you get it you're nearly invincible. You get the chance to be a Gaffgarion on steroids. Not too sure about the Onion Knight, but if you plan to get that class, you're going to need someone with another version of WoTL. (Read the bottom point for clarification).
5. The Multiplayer options in WoTL are qutie good, though I haven't tried them myself, seeing as I don't KNOW anyone who plays WoTL around my area...you can participate in battles with your friends or battle them. In the process, you'll get equipment that CAN'T be bought or found in the game. Most of this equipment is needed for the Onion Knight (look above), however, you can also get near mint items, like Etsecheon 2 (sp?).
6. The short animated scenes are nice, and with some voice acting as well. However, there aren't a lot, so it's not worth buying the game just because of the animated scenes.
I think that's about it. Hopefully I didn't spoiler it too much for you, though you did say you wanted to be spoilered.

Is the GBA vwersion the same as the PS version, because Ihave that one, and as far as I know, we didn't get tactics released for the PS over here
I have WoTL aswel, so it seems abit pointless me playing the GBA version then the PSP one......although, tbf, I played WoTL for like half an hour then turned it off because it was too hard ;_;

Nah. The GBA version is another story, same universe, different timeline, after the non human races come out of hiding... Which I assume would place it after Tactics and either before or after XII.

Final Fantasy XII happened before everything. Tactics was much later when the non-human races had been wiped out by a great catastrophe. Tactics Advance started off set after all of that (in the modern age) but they were transported into a dream like version of Ivalices golden age, where Moogles, Bangaa's, Veira etc all still lived.

The original FFT had some translation issues. I'm really glad they redid the dialogue. This game definitely has the best story in any Final Fantasy out there. The Dark Knight class and the cut-scenes were nice additions as well. I found Cloud to be useless though. I should give him another chance in my next play-through.

Well the fixed bugs too so you can't do the 9999 AP bug or the dupe weapons glitch. Which is good cause if you want to get stuff you have to work for it. They did add a multi player section but you will need two PSP's and two WOTL games for it to work.
