Hello, i recently bought Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP. The game plays well and all, but there is a slight problem. During the cutscenes, i get a small lag. I'm talking about a secong long lagging (i hear the umd disk spinning). After that, the cut scenes continue to play. Is there a problem with my UMD disk? Or is it normal for this game?

My cut scenes did not lag, but there is slow down during some screen transitions and during battles. Hearing the UMD spinning is pretty normal, even possibly during a cut scene, as it could be loading data it will use in the future.

Errr...i don't know what to do...it's nothing serious, it's just that sometimes during the cutscenes the games slows down for half a second and then continues...i'm thinking of getting a replacement for the game (from amazon) but i don't know if they'll give me a new one since the game plays perfectly. Anyway thanks for answering.

To be safe, if possible, you can just get it replaced. If it happens again with the new disc, its likely that its not a UMD issue, but part of the slow down that's already been confirmed in the game.

Just because I didn't notice slow down during the cut scenes doesn't mean its not there, I'm just letting you know what I saw.

Thats normal to hear the UMD spin.I don't own a PSP but my big sis does and her first game for the PSP is Genaration Of Chaos,that game does the exact same thing.Hearing that it happens to you as well it should be normal so don't worry about it
