Well, I learned about this a couple years ago, and I was just posting it to see if anyone needed or didn't know...
Growth - What I mean by this is how much Hp, Mp, Speed, etc you gain when you lv.
Question:How does this help me?
Answer: Well By Know the growth of a certian class you can have the best mage or knight or any character that fits your style.
Here's what'ya do,
1st - Decide what you want: Knight, Mage, or something else...
2nd - This info info will help you decide how...
-A.If you want a Knight; First, level them up as a monk.
-B. If you want a Mage;Level them up a Black mage
--1. For Strong High Damage Mage
--2. For High Mp; Summoner
3rd - Know you can inter-mix these to get a style you want.
4th - Know Find a degenator trap, I use the Z. Desert one.
-(it's in low center area along one of edges(edges of map))
5th - Change your characters job to...
A. If he's a knight change to Dark mage or Summoner (or something with low Hp)
B. If it's a Mage change to something like a Monk(or something else with low Mp.)
-Note- i do not reccomend changing to ninja(for speed reasons)
6th - Make you character keep walking on the degenerator trap(there for loosing lv's.(I know sounds like

or WTF?!? i wasted all that time?? but trust me

)
7th - Change back to Your previous Class/Job and level back up.
Question: what the !@#$ was the point of that?
Answer: lets say you wanted a knight: You rose your max Hp when you leveled, the De-Leveled as something that normally gains high Mp there fore loosing Mp instead of Hp when you De-leveled. Then Raised you Hp back up by gaining lvs therefore making your Max Hp go up higher than before.
Question: Is Hp and Mp the only things this works for?
Answer: No, it works for other things like....
Speed - Lv up as ninja or monk, lv down as bard or Calculator
Magic Attack - Lv up as Dark mage, Lv down as knight or Calculator
Physical Attack - Lv up as monk(if you don't like monk then Knight) and lv down as a summoner or Calculator.
