Calculators are so good I only need to use my Ramza ( a calculator that mastered just about all possible types of magic) and I own all my enemys.

Calculators are amazing. Good fun with the right skills. I like to set my calculator's secondary ability to White Magic, because any kind of Math Skill healing usually leads to some enemy Time Mage across the battlefield getting accidentally Cure 3'ed.

honestly...when i play i do not even try to get them....but from what i heard they can be quite powerful when you know how to use them...i rather stick with my team if dragoons, samuri, and a single white/summons mage.

I just don't know how to use a calculator. The math skills just seem useless to me unless I'm adding speed to my party. At least I hope I'm adding speed O.o;.

Lv. 8 Squire, Lv. 8 Chemist, Lv. 4 Geomancer, Lv. 4 Lancer, Lv. 4 Mediator and Lv. 4 Summoner, I believe, just off the top of my head.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this so far, but it's important to remember that Calculators are VERY slow. A pair of Speed Shoes fixes that a little, but not by much. Their slowness counters the incredible cheapness of casting multiple spells on one turn with no MP cost.

You can always try mastering all the calculator skills, then use it as a secondary skill with a faster class. Just remember, a wizard's magic is far greater than a thief's or a ninja's magic power. This means: once you master calculator, switch the job to avoid the slowness of them.

Wizard(class)
Black magic(initial ability)
calculate(second ability)
sword grab(reaction)
magic up(support ability)
move 3+(movement ability)
