well, technically the character will only hit high if it's...
1. Gained levels as soemthing with high DMG(Mages=Wizard, Warriors=Monks)
2. Is a decently high level, such as 40+
3. you don't level someone as a; lets say wizard and then change them into a knight for hope of them doing more damage...

*well in tactics i have only 1 technique that is full proof effective! "distance"! yup i use distance as an advantage! i have 3 ninjas and 2 monks, the ninjas can beat any enemy to a pulp with shurikens and elemental balls with "throw" skill, the monks can attack with wave fist from 2 cells away or finish off enemies with low hp with their punches.and they can heal hp or gain mana with chakra!

But mages pwn to badly... And you are definitly not using the full potentials of a ninja seeing as there close range pwns. They can do triple dmg with there two swords over a thrown shirken or sword. Also Dragoons pwn the most. I got mine masterd and it can reach over 10 tiles away. Dragoons = win.

*yup your absolutely right,i know ninjas have powerful melee attacks and can evade well too thats why you save that option for when the enemy is at a weak state.
*when you attack a full hp opponent, chances are they can counter or you can be gang banged.so i prefer to knock off some hp from a far and then poach or slay them with melee attacks later get it

if you tactical with your movements, you wont need to stay at a distance. You gotta know how far away your enemies are and to get them to spread out. Then you can take them out one at a time. Thats what i do all the time. I tend to spread my guys out and send my strongest character (Dragoon) and he/she take little damage and then i take em out.

*thats a good tactic man,but what enemies are we talkin about here?humans? what about the monsters like hydra, dragons and the ever annoying red and black chocobos! i mean, you cant win against them that easily and they get stronger at level 99 too,ive used my strategy on these buggers lots of times and i prevail each time

I just use Orlandu. He's the foolproof tactic for any situation, then there's distance but my absolute favorite is using a squire to raise your stats until your invincible.

*what? you mean you only use one character for a battle?
*well even if it is orlandu, you still can t win against a horde of monsters
*Orlandu is strong,he might be the strongest of em all but he will fall standing alone

Disagreed. He won't assuming you let him keep his Excalibur and m ake sure he's past Lv50. He'll be owning everyone...
Well, Dragoons and Ninjas are pretty good classes, being able to do damage from a nutsy distance, but you guys forgot one thing, in my opinion. You could perhaps, teach them all the samurai's Sword Grab skill. It reduces the chances of getting attacked by a melee attack by so much you probably could win the battle sustaining less than 100 hp loss in later games..!

No I don't only use him but he can take multiple monsters at once. I use Ramza, Agrias, That Robot Guy, Orlandu, and Mustadio (because he PWNS!) But Orlandu always kills everybody too fast. Recently though I've replaced Mustadio with Babylos though.
