Baltheir, Cloud and Other Unlockable characters?

Just as the title says, could someone please tell me how to get Balthier and Cloud, and could you please tell me the other unlockable characters. Thanks.

Ummm... You can't get Balthier you can get Beowulf.

Cloud: After returning Reis to human form, go to Goug. Cloud will run off to Zarghidas after a scene. After clearing Igros, go to Zargidas and win the fight.

Beowulf: Read the rumors at Goland, go to Lesalia, then agree to accompany Beowulf to Goland. After a series of plot battles, he joins the party.

Worker 8: After rescuing Reis from Goland, return to Goug Machine City. Worker 8 joins the party after a small scene.

Dragon Reis: Accompany Beowulf through Goland Coal City; Reis is rescued during the final battle in the series.

Human Reis: Read the rumors at Zeltennia, buy a flower in Zarghidas, then return to Goug. This unlocks a battle in Zeltennia, and Reis takes human form afterward.

Byblos: Aquired after clearing all ten levels of the Deep Dungeon. You have to win the boss fight (the monster is hard to just beat because you are tempted to try to get the last summoner ability "Zodiac"), Byblos joins you as a guest during the fight and if you keep him alive he will join you as a character afterwards.

Actually, you can get Balthier in the PSP version.
Listen the rumor "Rash of Theft" in Gariland, Gollund or Lesalia. Then listen the rumor "A Call of Guards" in Dorter, after that you'll engage in a fight, win that and you'll have Balthier. This all happens in chapter 4 after the battle of Bervenia.
And for Luso, you'll get him automatically when you are on your way to Riovanes.
And for the other characters, one note though. You'll need Mustadio. Otherwise the scenes will never occur.

Well some of the characters aren't unlockable. Such as T.G. Cid is a storyline event as is Agrias and Mustadio... I'm sure there's more I'm just falling asleep.

So, in the PSP version, can you get both Beowulf, and Balthier, and who are all of the story line unlockable characters that join your party foever (not just as guests)

This anwsers your question. and you get balthier in the psp version and you get him in chapter 4. Hes a secret character.

You missed Luso. You get him in chapter 3 when you save him from Behemoth's... theres like 7 of them

And Balthiers actually a secret character that you cant get til you in chapter 4 like the other secret characters. But trust me. He is worth getting. He hits over 100 damage compared to Mustidio who hits in the 30's-40's. He also has more skills the Mustidio too. He pretty much the only other good secret character to get. Other then that, Orlandu (T.G. Cid) does Beowulfs, Milindu's, and Agrais skill so i'd just use him.

*all in all i suggest you dont relly much on these secret characters my friend.a powerful character may be an asset in battle but a great strategy will lead you to victory.

*what i suggest is this you take Cid as your basher(melee attacker) Ramza and two other recriuts as Ninjas & a healer
and a monk for longrange attack reviving,healing and regaining MP

*or you could just take any two secret characters and place Ramza and two other chars as ninjas

thatll get you through almost any enemy
