This dude really pissed me off with his "Animals have no god" lines. He was also an ingorant extremist jackass in my opinion. Sometimes it gets on my nerves replaying the game so bad I'll take a break because he pisses me off more than any other character.

He's the little uppity asshole that basically betrayed your ass because he was more concerned with the rich being better than the poor. You had to fight and defeat him when Delita's sister was shot, if I remember correctly. You saved his life very early on and then he sold you out.

Yes, and that is what makes me hate him. Plus he was just acting like one of those snobs that think they're better than everyone. I may not believe in god, but that line really burns me up.
I also heard that you have to fight him in the remake of the Lion War. I already hate the character... I don't even wanna hear the voice I'm imagining him having.

But it's well-deserved, seeing as Algus was a traitorous idiot. I mean, what was the point of him joining your party and then betraying you and then trying to kill you in the end. He also had that crossbow, which was ghey 'cause in my playthrough of that battle, he kept moving farther and farther away, killing a couple of my knights in the process.
I hate 'im.
But in terms of plot, his betrayal was a grand dramatic twist. Gets the excitement and the emotion going, y'know?

I remember on one playthrough I managed to get a summoner by that time by God how knows how. o.0
All I remember is summoning Titan or something and kinda wiping out those auxiliary archers. Needless to say, the boss battle was tough for me, even with all that magic.
I remember I tried to use Phoenix down on that girl who died (I already forget her name), and it didn't work lol. I had an archer go up that steep building to the bridge, which was kinda dumb 'cause it left the rest of my party one man short for about 10 turns.
