| Tactics Advance While not directly a sequel to Tactics, the Advance version took the battle style from its parent game and brought it to the GBA. |

The laws. I remember I won fight against a boss in a story event because the boss guy was using an outlawed skill. The Judge gave the guy a yellow card and then a red card and afterward sent him to prison. LOL. Guess that was an easy win. The fight was though too so good for me lol.

FFT was equally as challenging, without the stupid limits imposed by "Laws." God I hated them. If I'm fighting a battle, or a war in which I can die, I'd really want to use all my skill to survive while at the same time decimating my enemy. And now some stupid law means I'm going to die?

The laws were annoying at times. It would be nice if the law system were implemented in a really creative way.

I haven't played FFTA at all, mainly due to everything I've heard about it, that being a watered-down, simplistic, no-story mindless child's game compared to the original Tactics. Which is too bad really. I had such high hopes for it when I heard about it, but it buchered everything that made Final Fantasy Tactics good. When FFTA2 comes out, I will probably wait for the reviews on that one as well, just in case they follow the same play as its predecessor. Hopefully Square-Enix listened to the fans and we'll get more of a follow-up to Tactics than to Tactics Advance.

I would have to pick FFT for the PSX. I would pick that one because of the storyline and the many other features it had that FFTA did not have. In additon I enjoyed the battle surroundings more in FFT than in FFTA. Though, I really love both games.

So what FFTA was childish, and it had a gay judge system, but the game was a lot cooler looking. Missions and stuff made the game addictive and worth playing, sure it wasn't a clone of fft but take away the judge system and give the game a real storyline and you have a much better game that beats fft.

How come noobs come up and take up for crappy games?
In Tatics advance, the characters are boring, the laws sytems sucks, the other racesn are badly drawn and thought up cheaply, and the mission system story line is stupid.
Instead of giving the races seperate jobs, why not let them just have all the jobs, and make certain races stronger than others? That would be nice.
