Tactics Advance While not directly a sequel to Tactics, the Advance version took the battle style from its parent game and brought it to the GBA.

Okay overdose, give yourself a good treat and go buy the game, providing you can find it. FFTA is the worst game in the whole series. Overdose, dont be a noob, buy it okay? You will enjoy buying it. When you see how good it is, throw FFTA in the garbage. Forget you ever played. Your life will be smoother.

Oh yeah, the original Tactics all the way. I played that game forever. I think it killed my first PlayStation. The story in FFTA is very childish, but I love it just because it was a taste of the original.

PS, I still don't understand the ending of FFT, and I have a Master's degree.

FFT's storyline was very hard to understand, I had loads of trouble, maybe cuz im only 13.... And im not so very good at english. It could take many playthroughs to understand the full storyline

FFTA is just like a nice diversion for fans of the original, I think. Compared to FFT, the story isn't as good, the characters aren't as interesting, and the battles aren't as engrossing. FFTA does have the nice touch of different races and new jobs, but I thought they could have done a better job with the abilities for each job.

FFTA is like FFX-2. It's cute and fun, but it could never replace the original.

I can't really choose which is better between these two games. FFT had a great story loads of characters and it had cloud in it as a hidden character. But FFTA was an interesting spinoff it had an original story and was pretty much the same as the original except with the addition of the law system which by the way added more difficulty to the game. FFTA would have been better than the original final fantasy tactics if the story was longer and added more job classes to the characters.

I've played both (Though I haven't finished either), and I choose Advanced. I can finally take it with me, and I think it's a cute game, and I don't think that story-line is that bad, I quite like it.

I thought FFTA was kinda fast. I prefer FFT though. FFTA was interesting and a lot of a better game than Ogre Tactics in my opinion. Though Ogre Tactics was probably targeted for an older audience.

Tactics Ogre was more easier for me, im talking about Knights of Lodis GBA version, but I dont really like the idea of having 8 people at the same time, it was much easier, you could undo moving, you could buy a lvl 30 solider, you could cast magic on the same turn etc. and the storyline was nothing compared to Tactics...
